Peacock Engineering’s Technical Services team is now looking for an Test Analyst Professional to support the growing demand for Maximo enterprise asset management solutions, working from our office in Bangalore.

• Manual testing
• Functional including Smoke, Integration, System, System integration and Regression testing.
• Limited Non-functional testing.
• Analysing requirements documentation and user stories to build standardised test artifacts.
• Creating Test Data requirements and prerequisites.
• Planning and creating test traceability matrix for the projects involved.
• Provide technical services over the entire lifecycle of a project.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written) possess the ability to multi-task.
• Waterfall and Agile methodology work experience.

Skill Requirements - Essential:

• Tech. in Computer Science, Engineering or Business-related field and/or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum four (4) years of work experience.
• Effective communication skills, and the ability to work well in a project team environment.
• Creating Test plan, Test cases, and Test Reporting documentations.

Skill Requirements - Preferable:

• DevOps Methodology work experience.
• API testing- Postman/SOAP API/REST API.

We are looking for an experienced QA Test Automation Engineer to be part of our team. Your understanding of functional testing, writing maintainable tests, written and verbal communication skills will be put to the test.

• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and execute manual testing activities.
• Manage release from the QA perspective and keep the affected parties informed.
• Identify quality assurance process bottlenecks and suggest actions for improvements.
• Preparing test cases for unit, integration and end-end testing.
• Plan and manage automation testing strategy for QDC.

• Reviews design specifications to understand the scope, requirements, and function of the software product.
• Preparation of test data and execution of test cases (including functional, system, regression, performance, API and database layer etc.)
• Identifies appropriate processes, parameters, functions, and data to test and validate; parameters may include general function, the validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Lead and participate in test case reviews with Business, Developers, other team members
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• When a product does not perform within specifications, reporting defects to programmers while identifying and recommending solutions, improvements, and updates.
• Identifies, logs, and recreates error codes, bugs, and defects.
• Draft quality assurance policies and procedures
• Investigate production issues
• Conducts testing to ensure products perform according to product requirements and within established guidelines.

• Review and analyze system specifications
• Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Execute test cases (manual) and analyze results
• Evaluate product code according to specifications
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

• Proven 3+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
• Experience in project management and QA methodology
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

About the Role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. QA engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.)

Responsibilities

Excellent command of Manual Testing and Automation Testing (Any tool).

Good knowledge of UI automation using Selenium or equivalent

Good knowledge in writing advanced SQL queries and data validation techniques Solid knowledge of SDLC and STLC concepts, Functional Testing

Fundamentals Good Experience of working in an Agile environment

and Expected skillset (Good to have)

Experience working with defect management tools like JIRA Well versed with all types of testing artifacts.

What you need to have: 

• Good knowledge in manual testing through test case estimation, test case preparation, and test reporting
• Design & develop test cases based on available requirement specifications and verification plans, execute tests cases at least 1+ years
• Good experience in Ad-Hoc testing, Functional testing, Regression testing, Re-testing, Smoke testing, running Selenium automated tests for 3+ years.
• Knowledge in Selenium and Java.
• Good exposure to Non-functional testing
• Very good at completing the assigned testing tasks on time.
• Ability to learn and implement quickly.
• Prepare detailed defects report.
• Good communication skills and documentation skills.
• Good to have knowledge in both Web application and Mobile application testing, test management tool, defect management tool and test metrics.

A Software Testing Engineer is required to fully test the product or system to ensure it functions properly and meets the business needs. The job responsibilities include:

Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible for creating and executing tests to verify that software runs properly and without defects on each platform requested and to handle test procedures efficiently to result in extreme product stability, product usability and performance.
• Responsible for creating test plans and test cases.
• Understanding how a feature is implemented to develop test cases for the functionality, performance, stress, and fault conditions.
• Responsible for reviewing and analyzing project documentation to ensure product testability.
• Responsible for providing detailed testing status.

Skills  Required: 

• Should have experience in creating Test Plans, Test scripts, Test cases.
•  Knowledge in Selenium web drivers is mandatory. They should be able to write the scripts and run them in Selenium.
