QA Support

A Day in the Life:

• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand feature requirements.
• Review feature specifications and design detailed test cases.
• Perform manual tests on payment gateway systems, including transaction flows and API validations.
• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA and prioritize them for resolution.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure system stability after updates.
• Participate in team discussions to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Document test results and prepare for upcoming sprint activities.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• 5 - 7 years of QA experience, with at least 3 years in payment gateways, fintech, or banking systems.
• Strong knowledge of payment processing.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and encryption (TLS, AES, RSA). Familiarity with PCI-DSS, PSD2, GDPR, and AML/KYC processes.
• Proficiency in SQL for database validation (transaction logs, ledger entries).
• Hands-on experience with JMeter, Postman, Selenium, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of blockchain-based payouts (optional but a plus).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning & Strategy: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for payment processing, refunds, chargebacks, settlements, and fraud detection. Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, PSD2, and other financial regulations.
2. Functional & Integration Testing: Validate API integrations with banks, PSPs (Payment Service Providers) and third-party vendors. Test transaction flows (success, failure, retries, timeouts) and edge cases.
3. Security & Compliance Testing: Perform penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and data encryption checks. Ensure PCI compliance and adherence to EMV, 3D Secure (3DS2), and SCA (Strong Customer Authentication).
4. Performance & Load Testing: Conduct stress testing to evaluate system behaviour under high transaction volumes (TPS - Transactions Per Second). Identify bottlenecks in authorization, settlement, and reconciliation processes.
5. Automation & Tools: Develop and maintain automated test scripts (using tools like Postman, Selenium, JMeter, or Karate). Work with CI/CD pipelines for regression testing.
6. Defect Management: Log, track, and prioritize bugs using JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and compliance teams for issue resolution.
7. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain test documentation, including test cases, test data, and audit logs. Provide QA metrics and test summary reports to stakeholders.

Job Summary:

We're looking for a passionate Quality Analyst (QA) Engineer across all levels, who will work closely with the developers with agile setup to create and executes product test plans to ensure software products meet design specifications and product quality standards. Assists the Development team with process improvements to continuously improve product quality.

What you will be doing:

• Thorough understanding of requirements
• Create detailed and well-structured test plans, and test cases, and perform manual testing of web or mobile applications.
• Pencil all the software defects with severity and priority using Jira as a bug-tracking system & test management platform
• Involvement in the root cause analysis of issues.
• Acquires and maintains knowledge of the existing projects, operations, or systems
• Continuously improve customers' overall testing strategy, take part in daily stand-up meetings, provide feedback
• Follow the agile process.

What you will bring:

• Must have 2-7 years of manual testing experience including API Testing and other testing.
• Must-Have Experience with end-to-end testing.
• Experience with different types of testing such as sanity, smoke, regression, integration, cross-browser, compatibility, etc.
• Must have a good understanding of QA concepts and methodologies.
• Good understanding of the SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, test design techniques, estimation of testing, test case documentation, defect logging, and defect analysis
• Self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Added bonus if you have:

• E-commerce / ERP domain experience
• Experience with mobile application testing
• Working with Agile Methodology
• Experience with performance and load testing (JMeter etc.)

Educational Qualification:

• M.B.A/M.C.A, B.Tech/B.E (IT/Computers), B.Sc/M.Sc. (IT/Computers) or any equivalent graduation or post-graduation

Job Description:

• Works with team to drive improvements in code quality via manual testing
• Works to develop and execute QA strategies to meet and exceed corporate quality goals
• Delivers on capabilities for the product suite automation strategy
• Develops manual and automated test cases and configurations needed to meet testing of business requirements
• Executes test cases/scripts to ensure delivery of quality software applications, including Systems Integration, Regression, and Performance Testing 
• Generates test data to support the requirements and test case for various test phases
• Building and maintenance of quality standards as well as enforcing technical and testing standards
• Creates logs to document testing phases and defects
• Monitors and tracks resolution of defects and takes part in daily standup 
• Designs, monitors, and analyzes quality assurance metrics such as defect, defect counts, test results, and test status
• Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative testing technologies and techniques

Qualification and Experience Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical disciplines, or equivalent work experience required
• 3+ years of experience in Technology, with an emphasis on QA, and proven ability in writing test cases, running functional or performance tests, and managing defects
• Solid experience in test-driven development, unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing
• Must have proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate, verify, communicate & report software application issues
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC and STLC
• Working knowledge of test management software like Jira
• Strong in analytical skills and should be a team player
• Competent in executing test cases and passionate about quality
• Ability to handle conflict effectively

• Developing import functionality from Excel to ERP on premise
• Preparing test scripts for testing the configured scenarios
• Testing may also include Unit testing, Performance Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing
• Testing the end to product scenarios in line with product standards and resolving conflicts with the help of technical team

Desired Candidate Profile

• At least five years' experience in ERP implementation, configuration, system design or related business experience
• Good command on SSRS reporting and Technical
• Excellent online presentation skills using Teams. Able to implement both Discrete and Process Manufacturing
• Deep knowledge in AP, AR, GL, Inventory, Warehouse management and FA
• Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 ,R3
• Certification and/or experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, AX 2012 R2, R3 or AX 7/D365FO are a plus
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word    

• Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
• Design test cases based on the use cases and considering various quality aspects.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Perform in-depth and thorough testing of the owned features/areas.
• Maintain the test cases and test results in test management system.
• Maintain the defects in defect Management system.
• Plan and realise the test environment, platforms, test cycles and regression cycles based on the strategy and quality evaluation at different stages of the product.
• Keep updated on the latest testing and domain technologies, test coverage methodologies and quality metrics.
• Develop skills on automation and testing tools.
• Should guide junior members in performing their activities effectively and help them develop technical skills.

• BE/B-Tech/BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Should have at least 4 years of relevant experience in QA.
• Proven working experience in software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools is a plus
• Knowledge of SQL and scripting is big plus
