Design Engineer

We are hiring Design Engineers to own the interface layer of our products end to end.

You should be comfortable moving from rough ideas to shipped experiences. Sometimes that means working in Figma. Sometimes it means designing directly in code. We care less about the tool and more about clarity, speed, taste, and judgment.

You will work across SaaS products, AI workflows, and internal platform tooling. Everything the user sees and touches is yours.

We value people who can operate from principles instead of waiting for detailed specifications. We are looking for builders who think deeply about product, user experience, systems, and execution together.

What you will do

• Own features at the interface layer from idea to shipped product
• Design in Figma when it helps, design in code when it is faster
• Build interfaces and interactions that make it to production
• Contribute to and extend our cross-product design system
• Think through edge cases, empty states, onboarding flows, motion, responsiveness, and usability
• Work closely with engineers to ensure interactions feel intentional and performant
• Improve product quality through iteration, not just mockups

What you need

Experience

• 3-5 years building user-facing software across design, frontend, or product-oriented roles. Strong portfolios matter more than years.
• A portfolio with shipped work you can walk us through. Live products matter more than polished mockups.
• Experience working inside product companies preferred over pure agency environments.

Design

• Strong product and interaction design fundamentals
• Fluent in Figma: components, auto-layout, variants, prototyping, and design systems
• Good taste in typography, layout, spacing, color, and motion
• Ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive interfaces

Technical capability

• Comfortable working in modern frontend codebases
• Able to prototype and build interfaces directly in code
• Familiar with responsive design, animations, accessibility, and frontend performance basics
• Comfortable reading code, debugging issues, and collaborating closely with engineers

AI-native workflow

• Uses AI tools fluently to explore, prototype, and accelerate implementation
• Treats AI as part of the workflow, not a separate discipline
• We care more about velocity and judgment than which tools you use

Communication

• Clear written and verbal communication
• Able to explain decisions, defend tradeoffs, and change direction when needed
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and shaping ideas collaboratively

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy computer vision and machine learning models for analyzing visual and document-based data.
• Build pipelines that convert unstructured visual inputs into structured and usable information.
• Develop and evaluate models for tasks such as object detection, segmentation, document parsing, and image understanding.
• Apply OCR and related techniques to extract meaningful information from complex documents and imagery.
• Work with large datasets and build efficient training and evaluation pipelines.
• Handle real-world visual datasets that may contain noise, inconsistencies, incomplete information, or varying formats.
• Experiment with different approaches to solve challenging computer vision problems and evaluate tradeoffs between accuracy, performance, and complexity.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate machine learning models into scalable production systems.
• Continuously improve model performance, accuracy, and robustness in real-world environments.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in AI and computer vision and apply relevant techniques where appropriate.
• Actively leverage modern AI tools and frameworks to accelerate experimentation, development, and engineering workflows.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying machine learning models, particularly in Computer Vision or document understanding.
• Strong proficiency in Python for machine learning and data processing.
• Hands-on experience with modern ML frameworks such as PyTorch and libraries in the Hugging Face ecosystem.
• Experience with computer vision tooling such as OpenCV.
• Experience with common ML and data science libraries such as scikit-learn, NumPy, and Pandas.
• Experience developing models for tasks such as segmentation, object detection, or document analysis.
• Experience working with large image datasets and building training pipelines.
• Solid understanding of model evaluation, data preprocessing, and performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced product environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering and product teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with TensorFlow or other deep learning frameworks.
• Experience working with OCR pipelines or document analysis systems.

• Experience working with complex technical documents, diagrams, or structured visual data.
• Familiarity with spatial or geometry-related data problems.
• Experience with libraries such as Detectron2, MMDetection, or similar.
• Familiarity with frameworks used to integrate modern AI models into applications (e.g., LangChain or similar tooling).
• Contributions to open-source ML or computer vision projects are a plus.

Roles and Responsibilities

· Design, Code, test, debug, implement and document complex WSO2 sequences.

· Monitoring and logging tool stacks - Splunk/ELK/Prometheus, Grafana 4 Design, Code, test, debug, implement and document complex WSO2 sequences.

· Perform Build activities for WSO2 ESB Middleware integration, involves writing XSLT, ESB coding, configuration, and Analysis activities.

· Trouble shooting various problems in different stages of development using logs files, Traces and Log Analyzer.

· Responsible for understanding the requirement, solution design, coordinate the development and testing activities (end to end)

· Guide the team regarding WSO2 platform best practices, framework, reusable artefacts and ensure code quality and timely deliverables.

We are looking for an experienced Frontend engineer with ReactJS development experience to join our team.
Here’s are some of the things you might have to do on any given day:
