About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished DevOps Lead with 12+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, Blockchain, and CI/CD processes. The DevOps Lead will play a pivotal role in architecting scalable cloud environments, driving automation, ensuring secure deployments, and enabling efficient software delivery pipelines. The role involves working with AWS, Huawei Cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform, blockchain-based infrastructure, and modern DevOps toolchains while providing leadership, technical guidance, and client-facing communication.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

● Lead, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps engineers, setting technical direction and ensuring adherence to best practices.

● Facilitate collaboration across engineering, QA, security, and blockchain development teams.

● Act as the primary technical liaison with clients, managing expectations, requirements, and solution delivery.

Infrastructure Automation & Management

● Architect, implement, and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform across multi-cloud environments.

● Standardize environments across AWS, Digital Ocean, Huawei Cloud with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.

● Manage provisioning, scaling, monitoring, and cost optimization of infrastructure resources.

CI/CD & Automation

● Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines supporting multiple applications and microservices.

● Integrate automated testing, static code analysis, and security scans into the pipelines.

● Implement blue-green / canary deployments and ensure zero downtime release strategies.

● Promote DevSecOps by embedding security policies into every phase of the delivery pipeline.

Containerization & Orchestration

● Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on Kubernetes clusters (EKS, CCE, or equivalent).

● Utilize Helm charts, Kustomize, and operators for environment consistency.

● Optimize container performance and manage networking, storage, and secrets.

Monitoring, Logging & Incident Response

● Implement and manage monitoring and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, Loki).

● Define SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs for production systems.

● Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.

Governance, Security & Compliance

● Implement best practices for secrets management, key rotation, and role-based access control.

● Integrate vulnerability scanning and security audits into pipelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

● 12+ years of experience in DevOps, with at least 5+ years in a lead capacity.

● Proven expertise with Terraform and IaC across multiple environments.

● Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Huawei Cloud infrastructure services.

● Deep expertise in Kubernetes cluster administration, scaling, monitoring, and networking.

● Advanced experience designing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.

● Solid background in automated deployments, configuration management, and version control (Git, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).

● Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, Go, or similar).

● Proficiency with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, Datadog).

● Strong understanding of blockchain infrastructure, node operations, staking setups, and deployment automation.

● Knowledge of container security, network policies, and zero-trust principles.

● Excellent communication, client handling, and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to present complex DevOps concepts to non-technical audiences.

● Ability to design and maintain highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems in production environments.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Developing digital products, applications and minimum viable product (MVP), including defining the overall architecture and system design to meet business requirements.
• Enabling our client to select the appropriate technology stack, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security and maintainability.
• Designing and configuring the infrastructure to support the software application.
• Choosing the development toolkit, frameworks and libraries best suited based on business and project's needs.
• Crafting and executing database designs, ensuring data integrity, performance and scalability.
• Enhancing and optimising application architecture to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Ensuring application scalability to handle increased user loads and data volumes effectively.
• Upholding quality assurance standards through code reviews, testing and continuous integration practices.
• Ensuring IP security by implementing robust authentication, authorisation and encryption mechanisms.
• Exploring and integrating new technologies to enhance the software's capabilities and keep it up-to-date with industry trends.
• Developing the startup's strategic resource allocation plan, including budgeting for technology investments and staffing needs.
• Ensuring efficient utilisation of technologies by optimising resource allocation and minimising waste.
• Assessing and integrating new systems and infrastructure to support the evolving needs of the organization.
• Deliver digital products to clients across various verticals, including healthcare, Fintech, hospitality, manufacturing, etc.
• Building, attracting and mentoring talented developers to foster a culture of learning, innovation and collaboration within the team.
• Collaborating closely with the sales team to ensure effective communication and strategic positioning of technology solutions, while continuously refining sales pitch strategies based on feedback and market trends to maximize success rates and drive revenue growth.
• Defining, managing and evaluating team members based on goals and performance metrics, providing status updates to the leadership team on a bi-weekly basis.
• Identifying process gaps and development inefficiencies within the organisation and defining and driving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to address these gaps effectively.
• Generate business opportunities from existing clients and collaborate with the business team to convert new business.
• Work towards achieving annual and quarterly revenue targets.

Skills Required

• Strong business acumen, with the ability to make strategic decisions and take ownership of account growth, revenue and outcomes.
• Strong technical background with experience in managing complex technical projects encompassing diverse realms such as Web, Mobile, Applications (Apps), Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality (AR/VR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML).
• Extensive experience in establishing and refining processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aimed at measuring and enhancing the quality and efficiency of development capabilities. This includes implementing frameworks to assess performance metrics, optimise workflows and drive continuous improvement across the development lifecycle.
• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Proven track record of driving business growth and creating lasting client partnerships.
• Enterprising and adept at handling clients effectively.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be an inspiring and confident team player with:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and/or significant relevant work experience
• Minimum of 4+ years of proven agency experience in software development projects.
• Experience in leading a team of highly skilled developers, engineers, and testers
• working on multiple client projects
• Experience managing products and projects, and delivering large scale technical solutions on time and on budget
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with a track record of managing stakeholder expectations effectively.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools

As the product designer, you will be responsible for delivering the optimal user experience across the Empuls web and mobile apps. This is a high visibility role and has a large contribution to the overall success of the product and customer satisfaction. The role requires deep collaboration with the product, technology, marketing, and sales teams. This role might include some people management responsibilities.

• Craft detail of new and existing product features, from understanding the customer pain point to defining wireframes, high definition prototypes and finally collaborating with the technology team to navigate through constraints and build the product.
• Partner closely with our Product, Marketing, and Technology teams to understand what users need, want, and love about the product. Use the data to plan and define the optimal user experience.
