Position Overview

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic MERN Stack Developer to join our development team. As a MERN developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining full-stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to build responsive, intuitive, and user-friendly web interfaces.
• Optimize applications for performance, speed, and scalability.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, team discussions, and agile ceremonies to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Bonus skills: Familiarity with TypeScript, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines is a strong plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS will be considered an added advantage.

Key Requirements

• 1 – 2.5 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development using the MERN stack.
• Proficiency in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and experience with both PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Strong foundation in JavaScript, along with HTML5 and CSS3.
• ·Experience integrating and working with REST APIs and third-party APIs.
• ·Familiarity with Git and collaborative version control workflows.
• ·Solid problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• · Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of web development experience using Node.js or similar web technologies

• Well-versed with front-end code in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, React.js with familiarity in various frameworks and template languages

• Possess strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming.

• Proficient with database design, optimization and tuning in MySQL or MongoDB

• Experience in design patterns, unit testing, automation techniques (Selenium WebDriver)

• Exposure to Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, SQS, Redshift, etc.)

• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes

• Exposure to collaborating tools like GitHub, JIRA, Confluence

• Experience in frameworks such as Symfony 2, Express.js, or proven ability to learn on the job

• Experience in Microservices and REST architecture

• Exposure to Scrum methodology and XP technical practices such as unit testing, pair programming, test-driven development, continuous integration or continuous delivery

Java Expertise: Strong experience in Java Application Design, Coding, and Implementation.

Front-End Development: Excellent skills in front-end development using Angular 10, Bootstrap, and Typescript.

Technology Stack: Proficiency in Java, Spring Suite, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Rest APIs, and Micro-services is highly desirable.

Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, including refactoring, TDD, and continuous integration.

Client Interaction: Exceptional client-facing and presentation capabilities.

Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively both autonomously and within a team.

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to produce scalable software. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

Responsibilities 

• Writing code for both the front end and the back end using MERN stack [MongoDB, Express.js, React.js and Node. js]
• Creating RESTful API with Node.js
• Maintaining all the required documents for your project.

• Writing code for the app logic as well as the business logic using Reducers, Actions and Redux framework.

• Experience with common front-end development tools such as babel, webpack, npm
• Familiarity with at least one code versioning tools such as Git, SVN etc.
• Good understanding of quality JavaScript code (Object oriented and commonly used design patterns)
• Capable of debugging complex issues in JavaScript
• Experience in building complex single page applications with front end and backend.
