About the role 

Engineer new products and features, improve existing products and features. Help improve performance and reliability, or polish existing features. What are we looking for? 

3+ years working as a backend or full stack developer. 

Bachelor/Masters of engineering.

Better - Full stack engineer 1 

You're proficient with any part of our technology stack: React/Swift, TypeScript, Node.js, and Postgres. 

We are location agnostic, but in the same time zone India). We have a small garden office @ Jayanagar, Bangalore (home to some of the best dosas in India) to jam together on anything that requires space. 

You are not fixated about any one programming language & can learn new tech as needed. 

You are somebody who shares the same ethos. 

Bonus 

You have expertise in video or audio engineering skills. 

You contribute to open source projects. 

You've an interest in education & kids. 

You have interests outside of technology, such as in art, music or any performing art. 

What is our interview process? 

An initial 30 min call to understand each other at a high level. 

Work on a case study or assignment over the period of 2 weeks to ensure a good match. We care about effort & quality, and are happy to compensate fairly for the work put in)

Responsibilities:

• Build Node.js APIs using microservices.
• Rewriting backend code with microservices architecture & Unit tests.
• Developing new user-facing features using React.js.
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.

What you will do

• Develop high-quality software based on the technical design provided by team lead
• Adherence with software development processes. Demonstrate problem solving skills, and attention to quality and detail
• Perform code reviews and unit testing, validation, and verification testing of program modules
• Develop well managed, high quality, scalable and reusable code using .NET components, web service API’s, database procedures, JavaScript, etc.
• Build automation pipeline (CI/CD) through appropriate tools and scripting
• Debug code, solve incidents and defects. Document unit test plans.
• Adhere toOWASP security standards while coding and regulatory requirements

Who you are

• Experienced Software Developer with 1 to 3 years of total IT experience.
• At least 2 years of development experience with Microsoft technology stack (.Net)
• Good knowledge of software development, agile methodologies, and the following technologies:

C#, http://asp.net/">ASP.NET Core, Web API, HTML/CSS, MVC, WCF, JavaScript, Oracle/SQL Server,AngularJS/ReactJS, Apache Kafka, Mule ESB, Apache Spark, PowerBI, Azure DevOps

• Experience developing highly responsive web and mobile applications (UI/UX) using HTML5/CSS3, W3.CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, XML, Xamarin, etc.
• Familiarity with various operating systems (Linux, Mac OS, Windows)
• Hands-on experience in software development and agile methodologies
• Proficiency in relational databases like SQL Server and Oracle. Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google cloud), container and virtualization will be a big plus.
• Familiarity with Continuous integration (Azure DevOps/Jenkins/Hudson) and version control (GitHub, SVN). Knowledge of modern frameworks and design patterns, and test automation tools for Unit and Performance testing.
• Experience creating secure RESTful web services in XML and JSON

Job Description: Full Stack Developer (Angular/API)

• Experience in developing web and mobile applications using Frontend & Backend framework
• Hands-on Experience in developing frontend UI using Angular.
• Hands-on experience in API development preferably using .net Core.
• Hands-on Experience with ORM solutions like Entity Framework, Dapper, hibernate
• Strong knowledge of front-end UI frameworks like Bootstrap, Material, Prime NG
• Strong Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)

• Proficient in Ruby, and one of the Javascript UI frameworks like React, Ember, Angular, etc.
• Experience working with MySQL, BigQuery, and Snowflake.
• Experience in UI frameworks like React, Ember, Angular, etc.
• Experience building and deploying applications in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem. 
• 5+ years of software engineering experience developing scalable production software incorporating testing, evaluation, and monitoring.
• Full-stack development experience
• Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals and code organization best practices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Built systems that make use of complex job queues and offline processing
• Experience with Docker/ECS/AWS
• Experience with testing and writing test cases
• Experience with Jest, Enzyme, and RSpec
