Role Summary

This is a Java Full Stack Developer role with GCP as mandatory requirement, where Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and GCP are non-negotiable. You will be part of Core Engineering building cloud-native, scalable full-stack platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications end-to-end.
2. Build scalable REST APIs and Microservices architecture.
3. Develop responsive Angular-based UI applications.
4. Design software architecture and cloud-native solutions.
5. Work on GCP deployments and cloud migration projects.
6. Follow Agile, TDD, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
7. Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, UI/UX teams, and other stakeholders.
8. Ensure application security, performance optimization, and code quality.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 6-10 years of experience with strong hands-on coding.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and GCP.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices, REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment.
• Good communication skills and experience working in Agile teams.
• Willing to work WFO from Sholinganallur, Chennai.

• Architect and Develop: Design, implement, and maintain high-performance backend services using Java/Golang and intuitive frontend interfaces using React.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, promoting best practices and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Collaboration: Work with backend developers, frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks and scalability issues.
• Debugging and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex issues in both backend and frontend components.
• Testing: Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.
• Continuous Learning: Stay current with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in full stack development.

●       Deep knowledge and hands-on experience of Java & UI stack.

●       Proficient experience of web technologies, frameworks and tools like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, NodeJS, XML, jQuery, Spring, etc.

●       Should be well versed with State Management, Redux, Reducers, Java Script, CSS in ReactJS/UI

●       Practical experience of test-driven development and constant refactoring in continuous integration environment.

●       Experience in Oracle PL/SQL programming is required, knowledge of SQL and relational databases

●       Experience working in an agile team, practicing Scrum, Kanban, or XP

●       Experience of performing Functional Analysis is highly desirable.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive, design, build and deliver end-to-end solutions using Agile and User Centered Design processes.
• Build a distributed system based on SOLID design principles, concurrency, and distributed data.
• Demonstrate experience  writing enterprise software applications for high frequency and low latency environments.
• Hit the ground running with a typical Java ecosystem (Spring & its sub-projects, dependency injection, maven, hibernate, etc.)
• Maintain quality, modularity and ensure responsiveness of applications.
• Be able to pick up new technologies along their whole development stack including non-java ecosystems.  
• Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design to launch new features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design.
• Work with third-party data-sources and APIs.
• Unit-test code for robustness.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Extensive experience and deep understanding in Java 8, including multithreading, data-structures and algorithms.
• Strong understanding of distributed architecture concepts, Design patterns, SOLID principles, 

SOA, Microservices, Cloud hosting solutions (preferably AWS).

• Good experience in developing REST API and Json, in Java backend applications.
• Hands on experience with SQL, NoSQL concepts.
• Test driven development, including unit test cases using any test framework (JUnit, spring-test, MockMvc), and end-to end testing.
• Excellence in writing and maintaining clear end-user documentation including API specifications, patterns, best practices, and data definitions, including Swagger.
• Good knowledge of GIT.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and build automation tools like Jenkins pipelines for Continuous Integration (CI)/ Continuous Delivery (CD), maven/Gradle
• Experience with Agile software development (e.g., SCRUM or KANBAN) and/ or User Centered design process.
• Experience in working with Angular 6+/ReactJS 16+ & Redux, JSP, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and Javascript will be a plus.
