PHP / Laravel Developer

Job Purpose and Impact:

The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Engineer will architect, design and develop new and existing digital solutions for the organization's ERP digital portfolio. In this role, you will discover and deliver solutions to complex and varied problems to enable the company's digital future. You will bring order to ambiguous scenarios and apply in depth and broad knowledge of architectural, engineering and security practices to ensure your solutions are scalable, resilient and robust and will share knowledge on modern practices and technologies to the shared engineering community.

Key Accountabilities:

• Apply software engineering patterns and principles to design, develop, test, integrate, maintain and troubleshoot complex and varied software solutions and incorporate security practices in newly developed and maintained applications.
• Participate in peer code review sessions to review code, coach peers and ensure code quality.
• Take the lead in the assigned agile team to adopt agile philosophies, facilitate agile ceremonies and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Incorporate the company's engineering and development best practices within the full software development lifecycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, building processes, testing and security principles, to deliver high quality code rapidly.
• Collaborate to lead demonstration and continuous feedback sessions to improve development and help drive the long-term vision.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Confirmed experience automating pipelines for continuous integration, testing, delivery and security
• Confirmed experience architecting applications, databases, services or integrations
• Minimum of four years of related work experience
• Experience working in ERP basis, Code Development (ABAP, HTML 5, Python, Java, etc..), or Design Thinking.
• Experience working in Azure, AWS, or BTP cloud environments.
• 2 positions- 1 ERP SAP and 1 for open-source technologies

• Designing and Developing web applications using Laravel 7 / 8
• Closely working front-end and back-end developers on projects.
• Hands on experience with handing MySQL queries
• Excellent logical and analytics skill
• Experience on handling and developing API end points
• Experience with Payment Gateway integrations and implementations
• Knowledge on any Frontend Framework - Bootstrap / Foundation / Backbone (Secondary skills, added advantage)

• Follow standard coding structure with Security first approach to avoid vulnerabilities such as SQL Injection and XSS
• Sound knowledge on integrating multiple payment gateway

• Join the product research team to develop the leading Geodata and GeoAI platform in Hong Kong
• Be part of the product team to develop web front-end interface with a focus of data and AI application
• Develop automated software in Arical data and AI pipeline
• On job training for rapid product development cycle
• Will have to deliver reliable and maintainable code
• Use analytical skills effectively for hands on problem solving
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code
• Work with UI/UX designer

• Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields
• Coursework in programming, data science, machine learning, AI and databases
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Proficiency with client-side scripting and database technology

• Knowledge of one or more system programming languages (Python, C++, Java, etc)
• Knowledge of MongoDB and other NoSQL data stores such as Redis
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, cross-browser optimization
• Proficiency with one or more front-end web development framework (Bootstrap, Angular, React)
• Knowledge of one or more web-scripting languages (PHP, Rudy, Node.js etc)
• Knowledge of web-scraping library (Beautiful Soup, web driver etc)
• Knowledge of API packaging and Docker deployment
• Knowledge of app development

Responsibilities:

• Complete ownership of building and maintaining Web APP
• Deliver across the entire app life cycle design, build, deploy, test, release to production and support
• Should be comfortable in building a great consumer user interface and responsive web apps.

Requirements:

• Overall experience of 2-4 years
• React Web Developer with 2+ years of experience
• Should have worked on NodeJS with express framework
• Understanding of Backend services, API implementation, and database systems. - Familiarity with MySQL and Mongo databases

• Source Control, CI/CD systems, Cloud Services such as AWS, Firebase, GCP Minimum 1 year of experience in responsive app development
