Role Overview:

We are hiring a skilled MERN Stack Developer to build scalable web applications. You’ll work on both front-end and back-end, leveraging modern frameworks and cloud technologies to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop responsive UIs using React, GraphQL, and TypeScript.
• Build back-end APIs with Node.js, Express, and MySQL.
• Integrate AWS services like Lambda, S3, and API Gateway.
• Optimize deployments using AWS CDK and CloudFormation.
• Ensure code quality with Mocha/Chai/Sinon, ESLint, and Prettier.

Required Skills :

• Strong experience with React, Node.js, and GraphQL.
• Proficiency in AWS services and Infrastructure as Code (CDK/Terraform).
• Familiarity with MySQL, Elasticsearch, and modern testing frameworks.

We are looking for a talented Full Stack Developer with strong hands-on experience in Node.js and either Angular, React, or Next.js. The ideal candidate should have experience working with microservices, fintech/banking products, queuing systems, and scalable architectures. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, strong coding fundamentals, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, product-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance full-stack applications using Node.js and Angular/React/Next.js.
• Design, build, and maintain microservices-based architectures.
• Work with large datasets and ensure efficient data processing, storage, and handling.
• Integrate and manage message queuing systems such as RabbitMQ, Google Pub/Sub, or other brokers.
• Collaborate with Product, UI/UX, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality product features.
• Build reusable front-end components and optimize applications for maximum speed.
• Implement RESTful APIs, backend services, and API integrations.
• Follow best coding practices, testing methodologies, and documentation standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to backend, frontend, databases, and cloud deployments.
• Manage deployments and automate workflows using CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure robust security practices in code, APIs, and database management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Build scalable and loosely coupled services to extend our platform
• Build bulletproof API integrations with third-party APIs for various use cases
• Evolve our Infrastructure and add a few more nines to our overall availability
• Have full autonomy and own your code, and decide on the technologies and tools to deliver as well operate large-scale applications on AWS
• Give back to the open-source community through contributions on code and blog posts
• This is a startup so everything can change as we experiment with more product improvements

Some specific Requirements:

• Atleast 2+ years of Development Experience
• You have prior experience developing and working on consumer-facing web/app products
• Hands-on experience in JavaScript. Exceptions can be made if you’re really good at any other language with experience in building web/app-based tech products
• Expertise in Node.JS and Experience in at least one of the following frameworks - Express.js, Koa.js, Socket.io (http://socket.io/)
• Good knowledge of async programming using Callbacks, Promises, and Async/Await
• Hands-on experience with Frontend codebases using HTML, CSS, and AJAX
• Working knowledge of MongoDB, Redis, MySQL
• Good understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Operating Systems
• You've worked with AWS services in the past and have experience with EC2, ELB, AutoScaling, CloudFront, S3
• Experience with Frontend Stack would be added advantage (HTML, CSS)
• You might not have experience with all the tools that we use but you can learn those given the guidance and resources
• Experience in Vue.js would be plus

• 2 - 6 years of software development experience in a professional environment
• 2.5 - 3 years of relevant experience in Node.js
• Experience in Android applications, directives, services etc.,
• Experience with Bootstrap 4.x+ (or internal framework)
• Experience in CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, Typescript
• Able to integrate and use external (open source) libraries
• Develop high-performance and scalable APIs to serve clients.
• Experience in the creation of scalable RESTful APIs
• Experience in writing reusable, testable and efficient code.
• Collaborate with front-end developers on the integration of well-written APIs.
• Excellent verbal and written communications, ability to learn quickly and a willingness to work and add value to the team
• Experience with backend languages (e.g., Java) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Android, Node.js)
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UIUX design
• Experience in the creation of scalable RESTful APIs
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Knowledge of containers and Kubernetes
• Good to know cloud technologies like AWS Google Cloud Azure, etc

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.
