About the team

The Expansion Products team is responsible for driving volumetric & usage based upgrades and upsells within the platform to maximize revenue potential (apart from the subscription revenue). We do this by building innovative products & features that solve real-world problems for agencies and allow them to consolidate their offering to their clients in a single platform packaged under their white-labled brand. 

The expansion products team focuses exclusively on products that can demonstrate adoption, drive up engagement in target segments and are easily monetizable. This team handles multiple product areas including Phone System, email system, online listing integration, WordPress Hosting, Memberships & Courses, Mobile Apps, etc.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced software engineer with strong technical and communication skills who has developed full stack web apps, created solid APIs and beautiful interfaces for consuming them in user friendly apps. Focusing on details and well written self documented code are essential for this position. You can expect to collaborate with a solid team of designers, product managers, developers and testers on a daily basis. You must be experienced in building highly scalable and resilient systems that can meet our customer needs.

Your Responsibilities

1. Responsible for developing scalable backend services for memberships products.
2. Taking the lead in designing, developing and managing APIs, services.
3. Creating / customizing various components and web applications in Vue.js
4. Work with a great team of developers, designers and QA testers.
5. Reviewing, writing clean, tested, manageable code for services that scale to affect thousands of users everyday.
6. Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.

Your Core Skills

1. Solid Experience in Full stack engineering with Node.js and modern Javascript frameworks like Vue.js[preferred], React.js, Angular.
2. Proficient in building scalable applications and should be comfortable understanding the flow of the software.
3. Experience with relational/non-relational databases ex: MySQL / MongoDB / Firestore and have used them to build backend services.
4. Ability to design and build web services, and integrations with third parties through API
5. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git / SVN

The following would be your responsibilities:

• Assuming full-stack technical delivery of the Company’s SaaS platform under the direction of the CTO; supporting the architecture and development of the product platform;

• Supporting the policies, and procedures of Company’s platform security to adhere to industry­ standards and as may be requested in case of security audit requests;

• Helping in the creating/management of the Development, Testing (QA) and Production architecture, standards processes and procedures for the product/platform;

• Helping improve the technical team's processes as per our retrospective learnings and best practices;

• Estimating bug/feature implementation tasks to help with sprint/release planning

• Experience with creating, and maintaining third-party integration partner's technical relationships and APIs integration; including handling issues, version changes, and impacts to the platform;

• Delivering and Maintaining our continuously enhanced ODT product platform;

• Helping ensure the regular release, enhancement, maintenance and operation of the ODT DEV/TEST/PROD infrastructure and environment and uptime;
• Providing key inputs into the definition of the platform’s evolution from both a requirements and technical implementation and maintenance perspective; and

• Supporting Company business development and marketing activities to promote the sale and after-sale support to prospects and customers.

Experience: 

• Strong TDD mindset for automated testing, and experience with lean/agile development methodologies in a startup environment

1. AWS Serverless, AWS CDK:

Proficiency in developing serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and other relevant AWS services.

Experience with AWS CDK for defining and deploying cloud infrastructure.

Technical:-

What you have to offer

Must-Have:-
