Qualifications:
- B.E/ B.Tech
- Experience: 1-3 years.
- Job location – Andheri West, Mumbai.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot network issues, kernel panics, system hangs, and performance bottlenecks.
- Fine-tune processes for minimal jitter in a low-latency environment.
- Support low-latency servers, lines, and networks, participating in on-call rotations.
- Install, configure, and deploy fully-distributed Red Hat Linux systems.
- Deploy, configure, and monitor complex trading applications.
- Provide hands-on support to trading, risk, and compliance teams (Linux & Windows platforms).
- Automate processes and analyze performance metrics to improve system efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to maintain a stable, high-performance trading environment.
- Drive continuous improvement, system reliability, and simplicity.
- Resolve issues in a fast-paced, results-driven IT team.
- Provide level one and two support for tools systems testing and production release.
Skills Required:
- Expertise in Linux kernel tuning, configuration management (cfengine).
- Experience with hardware testing/integration and IT security.
- Proficient in maintaining Cisco, Windows, and PC hardware.
- Good knowledge in Perl, Python, Powershell & Bash.
- Hands-on knowledge of SSH, iptables, NFS, DNS, DHCP, and LDAP.
- Experience with Open Source tools (Nagios, SmokePing, MRTG) for enterprise-level systems.
- Knowledge of maintaining Cisco ports/VLANs/dot1.x
- Solid understanding of OS and network architectures.
- REDHAT Certification and SQL/database knowledge.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
- Proven technical problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong documentation and knowledge management skills.
- Software development skills are a bonus.
- Preferred SQL and database administration skills.

Role Overview

As an Operations Intern you will be responsible for:
