Job Description

We are looking for motivated IT professionals with at least one year of industry experience. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in AWS, Azure, AI, or Cloud technologies, or should be enthusiastic and ready to upskill and shift to new and emerging technologies. This role is primarily remote; however, candidates may be required to visit the office occasionally for meetings or project needs.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the IT industry
• Exposure to AWS / Azure / AI / Cloud platforms (any one or more)
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup
• Must have a proper work-from-home environment (laptop, stable internet, quiet workspace)

Education Qualification

• B.Tech / BE / MCA / M.Sc (IT) / equivalent

Required Skills:

• 3+ year of experience in Development in JAVA technology.
• Strong Java Basics
• SpringBoot or Spring MVC
• Hands on experience on Relational Databases (SQL query or Hibernate) + Mongo (JSON parsing)
• Proficient in REST API development
• Messaging Queue (RabitMQ or Kafka)
• Microservices
• Any Caching Mechanism
• Good at problem solving

Good to Have Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in using Java/J2EE tech stacks
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced internet start-up environment.
• Experience in technical mentorship/coaching is highly desirable.
• Understanding of AI/ML algorithms is a plus.

• Design and build strong, resilient, and robust APIs, libraries, and tools to power customers, engineers, and operations
• Own functionality and scalability features by taking responsibility from inception to post-deployment.
• Be responsible for full software development life-cycle - design, development, testing, operating in production
• Uphold our high engineering standards and bring consistency to the codebases, infrastructure, and processes you will encounter.
• Serve as technical lead, contributing to and directing the execution of complex projects with other engineers
• Mentor software engineers and set the standard for the next generation of Finly engineers
• Proactively identify and prioritize improvements to the team's processes, codebases and best practices

• 3 to 6 years' experience creating libraries and designing scale-able backend systems
• Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with software engineering development cycles
• Experience working with backend programming languages (Ruby, Python)
• Ability to hold yourself and the team to high standards
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide in-depth evaluation of multiple technical directions and determine trade-offs of each
• Strong propensity to make data-driven decisions on technical architecture and project prioritization

Desired Candidate Profile:-

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field(or combined with related experience)

- Strong Expertise in Node.js/Javascript

- Hands-on experience in writing Node.js applications

- Deep knowledge of Restful APIs, Web Services, command-line programs and solid design principles.

- Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks like Express.js,Sails.js,StrongLoop, Meteor,Loopback.js, etc

- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database(MongoDB)

- Knowledge of tools like Docker, Git, Postman, JSdocs, etc.

- Well versed with front-end technologies - HTML5, and CSS3, AWS, GCP, Azure, Good hold on CLI command, OS

- Proficiency in multiple programming languages, both dynamic(Javascript, Python, Ruby, etc.) and strongly typed object-oriented language.

- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.

- Must be a proven performer and team player that enjoys challenging assignments in a high energy, fast growing and start-up workplace.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills
