Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Python Django Developer with strong expertise in building scalable web applications and distributed systems. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Django, Redis, Celery, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, and Kafka to design and optimize high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python & Django.
• Implement asynchronous tasks and background job processing using Celery with RabbitMQ/Redis.
• Work with PostgreSQL for database design, optimization, and complex queries.
• Integrate and optimize messaging/streaming systems using Kafka.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, DevOps, QA) for end-to-end delivery.
• Stay updated with the latest backend development trends and technologies.

Requirements :

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in backend development using Python & Django.
• Hands-on experience with Redis, Celery, RabbitMQ, Kafka, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and asynchronous task management.
• Knowledge of performance tuning, caching strategies, and scalable system design.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Senior Backend Developer /Backend Developer

Hiring for the position of Backend Developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users.

Your primary focus will be the development of all server side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Role

●        Create and consume restful APIs

●        Design, develop, and maintain internal and external applications

●        Build efficient, testable, and reusable modules

●        Write high quality, structured application/interface code and documentation

●        Identify solutions through research and collaboration that resolves the root of problems as they arise

●        Define functional and technical requirements for application software to develop skills and knowledge

Requirement

∙ Proficient in Node.JS

∙ 2+ years’ experience designing, querying, and updating databases in MySQL/nosql 

∙ Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas

∙ Good to have knowledge of AWS, Redis, ElasticSearch

Education: Min. Graduate in related discipline

Work experience: 2 years relevant experience

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software and new user-facing features across Novo’s products and services.
• Drive technical decisions on a multi-functional, Agile team alongside product management, product design, and engineering.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability and analyze feedback from customers and internal teams to identify issues and improvement opportunities. 
• Champion a passion for engineering best practices such as code quality, linting, and testing.
• Ensure our software is reliable, extensible, maintainable, debuggable, secure, well-tested and performs well under load.
• Mentor junior engineers in all aspects of planning, development and testing.
• Stay engaged with latest technologies and evaluate strategies to keep the Novo technology stack up to date.

• 5+ years experience in a highly technical role at a hyper-growth startup or fast-paced company.
• Extensive background designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software.
• Good understanding of Node.js & Javascript.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business goals and initiatives into technical requirements.
• Strong understanding of SQL database.
• Demonstrable experience architecting scalable and cost effective solutions to ensure and support customer growth.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers in all aspects of planning, development and testing.
• Strong understanding of system design and architecture.
• Interest in engaging with latest technologies and evaluating strategies to keep the Novo technology stack up to date.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams effectively.

Solid experience working with the PHP and latest Laravel version

Proven expertise in managing API services (REST and SOAP)
