We are looking for a passionate AI/ML Intern with hands-on exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs), fine-tuning techniques like LoRA, and strong fundamentals in Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA). This role is ideal for someone eager to work on real-world AI applications, experiment with open-source models, and contribute to production-ready AI systems.

Compensation:

- Stipend: Base is INR 8000/- & can increase up to 20000/- depending upon performance matrix.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on Large Language Models (LLMs) for real-world AI applications.
• Implement and experiment with LoRA (Low-Rank Adaptation) and other parameter-efficient fine-tuning techniques.
• Perform model fine-tuning, evaluation, and optimization.
• Engage in prompt engineering to improve model outputs and performance.
• Develop backend services using Python for AI-powered applications.
• Utilize GitHub for version control, including managing branches, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Work with AI platforms such as Hugging Face and OpenAI to deploy and test models.
• Collaborate with the team to build scalable and efficient AI solutions.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs (open-source or API-based).
• Practical knowledge of LoRA or other parameter-efficient fine-tuning techniques.
• Solid understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA).
• Experience with GitHub and version control workflows.
• Familiarity with Hugging Face Transformers and/or OpenAI APIs.
• Basic understanding of Deep Learning and NLP concepts.

Role Overview:

As an SDE 2 back-end engineer you will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of the platform/dashboard backend. This would involve architecting, developing & maintaining RESTful services for vulnerability management, scan orchestration, inventory management and platform features such as on-boarding, trust centers, certificates, payment integrations, vulnerability ingestion, authentication etc. 

You should have a strong background in backend programming (Symfony preferred, or Laravel) and have experience with an event driven, async & distributed architecture. 

During the first 6 months of your role, you will be involved in the 0->1 journey of two of our upcoming products in our platform along with the respective product owners.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend services and APIs using Symfony PHP framework. What you create is also what you own.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Collaborate with scanner teams to orchestrate scans, ingest vulnerabilities, configure scanners etc.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
• Optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance and reliability.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Triage, troubleshoot and upgrade existing systems.
• Ship code to production multiple times a day/week.
• Ensure timely delivery of the features.
• Test your own features, and write test cases for continuous automated testing.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead code reviews, promoting best practices and high standards.
• Drive architectural decisions and technical strategy for backend systems.

What we are looking for:

• 4-6 years experience in a similar role or similar working experience.
• Advanced proficiency in PHP backend programming. Symfony preferred, or Laravel.
• Strong understanding of system design, software architecture principles and performance optimization.
• Experience with an event driven (subscribers/listeners), async (MessageHandlers & job queues) & distributed (load-balanced) architecture.
• Experience with PostgreSQL database and data modeling.
• Understanding of concepts such as Dependency Injection, ORM, data validation, error handling etc.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions (good to have).
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about technical solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional remote teams.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality software products on schedule.
• Knowledge of industry best practices in software development, security, and compliance.

Your primary role will be the implementation of the application for either desktop or mobile devices with a focus on performance. With your understanding of AngularJS  / React JS best practices you will create modules and components with which you architect the application. You will take existing design and front-end templates and enhance them with CSS animations and implement idiomatic markup. You will team up with the back-end developers to connect to.

About the Role:  

As a Speech Engineer you will be working on development of on-device multilingual speech recognition systems. 

• Apart from ASR you will be working on solving speech focused research problems like speech enhancement, voice analysis and synthesis etc. 
• You will be responsible for building complete pipeline for speech recognition from data preparation to deployment on edge devices. 
• Reading, implementing and improving baselines reported in leading research papers will be another key area of your daily life at Saarthi. 

Requirements:  

• 2-3 year of hands-on experience in speech recognitionbased projects 
• Proven experience as a Speech engineer or similar role 
• Should have experience of deployment on edge devices 
• Candidate should have hands-on experience with open-source tools such as Kaldi, Pytorch-Kaldi and any of the end-to-end ASR tools such as ESPNET or EESEN or DeepSpeech Pytorch
• Prior proven experience in training and deployment of deep learning models on scale 
• Strong programming experience in Python,C/C++, etc. 
• Working experience with Pytorch and Tensorflow
• Experience contributing to research communities including publications at conferences and/or journals 
• Strong communication skills
