Junior Web Developer

We are a registered broker-dealer and ATS (Alternative Trading System) currently building a revolutionary ecosystem to support the issuance and trading of digital asset securities (tokenized securities and other assets). We envision a future where everything is tradeable and have already constructed the technological foundation on which this thesis can develop.

As an SEC and FINRA- regulated company licensed to conduct business in digital asset securities, we are positioned to bridge traditional finance and the digital future, leveraging technology to improve the capital markets for issuers and investors alike.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer (React, NodeJS) to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on software development, including writing code and unit tests, doing proof of concepts, conducting code reviews, and testing in ongoing sprints

• Work closely with product team and other full stack developers to implement innovative solutions to challenging web development problems

• Participates in system design and specifications, program logic and flow-charting, development, testing, debugging, documentation, and support

• Supports new and ongoing digital defi projects, and integration with clients and vendor platforms

• Provides analysis of problems and recommends solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working in React and able to demonstrate strong JavaScript knowledge

• 5+ years of experience working with NodeJS

• 3+ years of experience working with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB

• Experience with CI and CD environment and AWS platforms

• Proficiency working with Docker

• Experience writing APIs and securing APIs

• Proficiency working with ECS and EKS

• Strong experience in systems architecture design and development

• Strong experience building single-page web applications

• Ability to efficiently manage and build large, complex web applications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail

• Self-motivated, ability to work independently

We are a small American company in the utility sector with a strong offshore team in Pune. Various stakeholders, internal and external, engage with us through web-based applications that we provide them. The current technology stack in use is a mix of ReactJS and ASP.NET. We follow a micro-frontend and micro-services based architecture.

Our existing software development team is general-purpose full-stack. We are looking to build consumer-focused self-service applications. With this in mind, we would like an experienced web developer who can take full ownership of all aspects of web development, from Ux design to architecture to coding to maintenance to devOps to monitoring user activity etc. Past demonstrable experience in building consumer applications that were actually used by a significant user base is a must.

• 2+ years of software industry experience
• Strong Expertise in JS, PHP, React, Node, Angular2+, MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Solid understanding of software design, development, testing, and problem-solving
• Expertise in coding efficient, high quality and modularized software
• Experience in developing Web services - Rest/Soap APIs/HTTP API - Microservices
• Experience setting up and managing servers. Devops experience is a big plus
• Strong exposure on Database like RDBMS - Postgres DB / NoSQL DB like DynamoDB, Elasticsearch
• Experience in Cloud / Storage like Amazon (AWS) - EC2/EBS/S3

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
1. Experience as Full Stack developer 3 to 5 years.

2. Experienced with common API authentication methods like OAuth, JWT, etc.

3. Java server side frameworks(Like Spring, Hibernate)

4. know how to architecture and implement the systems and services to scale 1000x.

5. Should be able to handle REST or SOAP services.

6. Deal with Apache Kafka and Apache Spark.

7. Know the servers (AWS or Droplet or Kubernets whatever which work is better).

8. Good written and oral communication skills.

9. Should be a team player with a mind-set that is inclined towards innovation and bringing a difference

10. Must respect diverse culture and believe in technology as a process enabler

11. Should know or have inclination towards learning new techniques and tools for websites.

Location: Bangalore. Currently employees would be requested to work from home due to the Covid situation, but can be asked to come to office for meetings. Hence it is imperative for the selected employee to be physically located in Bangalore. In case, the candidate is not located in Bangalore, they should consider relocation to the city once Covid situation improves.
