Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.·       

5–8 years of software engineering experience building production-grade applications.

Strong experience building and operating cloud-native SaaS or web applications.

Solid understanding of software design, distributed systems, and modern engineering practices.

Proven ability to own and deliver complex features independently.

Experience debugging and resolving performance, scalability, and reliability issues.

Job code: Application Engineer

Ducom Instruments now have an opening for the position for Application Engineer. Looking for dynamic and hands-on experience in LABVIEW to set out to improve the overall functioning of the client’s software. Creating new architecture, working with existing software and engineering hardware components that optimize certain technology. Comfortable in coding languages, and particularly those that apply enterprise solutions.

Application Engineer responsibilities span from software architecture design, programming, testing, debugging, and software maintenance. Documentation of the product including flowcharts, algorithms, codes, and other relevant information, software upgrades, user support, and training activities also comprise of important responsibilities in this position.

Minimum requirements:

• Knowledge on LabView
• CLAD certified
• Knowledge of communication protocols, e.g. USB, RS232, IEEE, RS485, TCP/IP, Modbus
• Knowledge of general software design/documentation processes in test and measurement systems
• Problem-solving skills
• Experience with Controls / Automation Engineering / Robotics interface programming
• Knowledge and exposure of digital electronics and instrumentation

Preferred qualifications:

• LABVIEW, C and C++ Programming and Arduino skills preferred
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience/fresher’s in instrumentation software development in industry / R&D
• Bachelors or a Master’s degree in Computers Science, mechatronics, robotics, electrical and electronics.

What you need to have:

• Minimum 2 years of data analytics and interpretation experience
• Proven experience to show how data analytics shaped strategy, marketing and product. Should have multiple examples of this based on current and past experience
• Strong Data Engineering skills using tools like SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, Advanced Excel, PowerQuery etc
• Strong marketing acumen to be able to translate data into marketing outcomes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.
• Expertise with MEAN stack
• Fluent in CSS (Foundation or Bootstrap), JavaScript, and HTML, with an understanding of CSS preprocessors including Sass and LESS.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, JavaScript, and MongoDB with working knowledge of SQL Database and PHP.
• Experience with JS-based tools including Bower, Grunt, and Gulp.
• Working experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Experience working with server technologies including Apache, ISS, Node.js, and Nginx.
• Experience in API design and development.
• Understanding of libraries including Backbone.js and jQuery.
• Experience with Docker, AWS, CI/CD, Jira is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and algorithms.
• Excellent communication skills, with strong attention to detail and a head for problem-solving.
• Skilled at working in tandem with a team, or unsupervised as required.

Controlling of Finance, General Accounting, General Ledger, Treasury management

• Develop and manage apps on React Native platform
• Analyse, code, debug, test, document & deploy applications
• Provide technical leadership and upgrade architecture design and solution to accommodate future expansion
• Ensure quality control processes are successfully employed.
• Experience in React-Native based app development is a must
• Experience in Mobile app development (Cross platform apps)
• Must have published at least 1 major React-Native app
• Knowledge of service workers implementation for Progressive Web Application (PWA)
• Demonstrated ability with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery, and other JS frameworks React JS
• Development experience of UI (layouts, animations, etc.)
• Good understanding of Design and Architecture Patterns
• Understanding of iOS and Android Code signing process and deployment model
• Understanding of Unit Testing, Debugging Methodology used in React Native Apps
• Understanding on integration of native modules with React Native code
• Experience with caching and scaling techniques
