# WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
### **Within 1st month**
- Learn all aspects of products and critical workflows for each of the products as part of your training.
- Setup the dev environment and organise your first bug bash.
- Have a one-one chat with every member of the GaragePlug team so you get to know everyone well.
- 1-hour session every week with one of the product & quality experts from other Upekkha startups
- Weekly 2 times join sales and customer success team for pre-sales customer demos to understand the product usage
- Weekly 1 session with customer success team to know more about the domain and product usage
- Start writing the functional test case masters for core modules

The JS TechAlliance is looking for Expert Software Testing/QA Engineer. Basically, the candidate should have strong skills in Mobile App Testing with Manual & Automation tools.
This QA Engineer position will be responsible to add content, improve our product and continue to produce quality while maintaining our production release sprints.

Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and manage test plan and test case creation based on user stories
Identify and encourage test process automation opportunities
Key member of efficient agile team performing testing and validation in two week sprint intervals
Assist development in issue analysis/debugging, preparing test environment, etc as needed
Education:
BA/BS in computer engineering or related field preferred, but not required
Training in Software Testing
Strong knowledge with manual & automation tools
Experience:
6 months to 1 year software testing experience
Experience with Test Automation Tools
Good knowledge of the software testing lifecycle (STLC) and the process tools.
Ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations
Strong customer service skills and communication skills
Experience with Jira, Jmeter and git
Experience in working with remote teams
Experience in supporting technology products to the messenger
Detail oriented, with focus on quality
Experience working in agile environment
Good knowledge of software quality assurance and defining quality strategies for projects and client engagements.
