QA Engineer

MCS is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Analyst to join our team. As a Quality Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our products or services. Your primary responsibility will be to assess and evaluate processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance quality across all aspects of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality assurance standards, procedures, and methodologies to ensure consistency and excellence in our products, services, or processes.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and audits of products, services, or processes to identify deviations, defects, or areas of improvement.
• Maintain detailed records of quality assessments, findings, and recommendations.
• Create and update quality documentation, including standard operating procedures.
• Investigate the root causes of quality issues and collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide guidance and training to teams and employees on quality standards, best practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Establish feedback mechanisms and channels for employees and customers to report quality-related concerns or suggestions for improvement.
• Prepare and deliver regular reports on quality performance, highlighting areas of success and areas requiring attention.
• Ensure that our processes and products adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in a relevant field (Quality Management, Business, Engineering, etc.)
• Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in a similar industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in quality management tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ISO standards).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to precision.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with quality management software and tools.

• Helps Test Lead to prepare the Test Plan and coordinate with Test Engineers during Testing Phase
• Performs Bug Analysis, understands the client requirement and help Test engineer to prepare the test cases
• Ability to multi-task/handle several projects effectively and deliver within timeline
• Peer Reviews the test cases, understands the Test Plan and write Automation test cases
• Able to write Scripts in languages like Java, Ruby, Python, etc.,
• Able to review the Scripts written, able to run the Maintenance / New Scripts and identify the issues
• Knowledge on automation test reports (TestNG, Allure, JUnit reports etc)
• Define onboarding documents for technology and domain for the teams
• Train/Mentor and evaluate juniors on testing specializations
• Exihitbit strong expertise in one of Load Testing - Jmeter (or similar tools) or Api Testing - Rest client/postman or DB testing
• Perform cross Browser / device compatibility testing using automation
• Understand and contribute to sprint release cycle process, ensure 100% test coverage and follow JIRA hygiene

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Performing Manual Functionality Testing
2. Preparing Documentation like Test Plan, User manual etc.
3. Co-ordination with Business team for requirement understanding
4. Providing operational support as needed

Skills & Qualification:

1. BE or MCA
2. 2+ years of relevant work experience
3. Experience in Manual Testing of App, Web and APIs
4. Basic Knowledge of SQL
5. Knowledge of JavaScript and Automation Tool like Selinium, Jmeter etc. is preferred

• Creating test plans and test cases
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and making construc\tive suggestions for change
• Staying up-to-date with developing technologies and showcasing them in your work

• Lead and manage a team that:
• Reviews and refines software requirements.
• Drafts and executes test plans and test cases.
• Identifies and drafts steps to reproduce defects utilizing our defect tracking system, JIRA.
• Enters and tracks defects to closure.
• Utilizes testing tools to increase the effectiveness of testing.
• Maintains test environments that mimic our production systems.
• Maintains and updates Selenium driven UI automation test cases.
• Maintains and updates ReadyAPI API automation test cases.
• Maintains and updates manual test cases.
• Maintains and updates JMeter performance/load test cases.
• Coach, mentor, and assist the team in performing their duties as needed.
• Provide formal QA approval and reporting for each release.
• Operate within the SAFe Agile methodology.
• Coordinate with other QA teams across the company.

• Experience leading a SQA or Software Development team
• Experience managing projects and processes cross-functionally
• Comfortable working in a continually changing and dynamic environment and driving top issues to resolution
• Proven track record of attracting, hiring, motivating and developing the best quality-minded individuals
• Excellent cross-functional communication and influencing skills
• In-depth knowledge and experience in one or more of the following technologies: Java, Python, Selenium, JMeter, ReadyAPI
• Automation planning, execution, and triage for projects on multiple Platforms.
• Excellent presentation skills, distilling complex analysis and concepts into concise business-focused takeaways
• In-depth knowledge and experience in identity management including OpenID Connect, SAML2, OAuth2, and SCIM.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of application security testing.
• Unix command line scripting skills

Mandatory Skill Requirements:

1. Strong Fundamentals on Manual Testing.
2. Some experience on API Automation Testing .
3. Basic understanding of any of the coding languages.(During the interview one coding question will be asked)
4. Basic understanding of SQL.(During the interview one SQL question will be asked)
5. Preferred Experience ( 2-6 yrs)

1. Development and Test Automation experience through Test Driven Development (TDD)
2. Establishing and executing Automated testing strategy for mobile apps with Tools like Perfecto Mobile/Appium or Web Driver/Selenium, TestNG and continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Git, Stampede etc.
3. Sound knowledge in JAVA is must have
4. Experience in Mobile AppDev and Test management tool (JIRA, qTest) and
5. Monitoring/Troubleshooting Tools Splunk, DynaTrace, SOAP UI 

1.  2+ of experience in producing test plans and creating test UI scripts/cases
2. Good experience of the management of all or part of the Mobile AppDev and UI Test execution phase in projects
3. Work in Agile methodology with TDD
4. Experience in API and Database Automated Testing
5.  Hands on experience of iOS (Objective C/Swift) and Android (Kotlin) technologies
6. Hands on experience in developing test artifacts and processes. Should have done test reporting with good clarity and no ambiguity
7. Experienced working in an onshore/offshore environment with flexible and adaptable working style to work with aggressive project schedules
8. Good communication and interpersonal skills
9. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint.
