About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Java Full Stack Developer with strong backend expertise in Java and hands-on experience in ReactJS for front-end development. The ideal candidate will drive the design, development, and implementation of high-performance, scalable applications that meet business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development (Approx. 80%)

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define backend architecture and ensure high availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, debug code, and improve overall system reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making.

Frontend Development (Approx. 20%)

• Develop responsive user interfaces and reusable ReactJS components.
• Integrate frontend components with backend services and APIs.
• Ensure high performance, cross-browser compatibility, and seamless user experience.

General

• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and deliver high-quality software on schedule.
• Maintain robust documentation and follow SDLC best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6–13 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and related server-side technologies.
• Hands-on experience with ReactJS and modern JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and web services.
• Strong database skills (SQL and/or NoSQL) and familiarity with schema design.
• Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Bonus)

• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of message queuing (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and best practices.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

• Perform hands-on development using Java, Spring Boot, Angular.
• Drive solution design, code quality, best practices, and performance optimization.
• Work closely with the client’s product owners and architects.
• Conduct code reviews, technical grooming, and sprint planning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Ensure timely delivery of modules with high quality.
• Mentor team members and support them in solving technical blockers.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, REST APIs.
• Strong front-end experience with Angular 8+, TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Hands-on with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, CI/CD.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) is an added advantage.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

•  Experience with Web fundamentals like HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, and JSP, java, angular etc
•  Good understanding of Object-Oriented JavaScript (OOJS), ES6,
•   Hands-on exp in Web app development using modern client-side MVC frameworks using ReactJS
•   Experience in Full stack development or Back end development
• Thorough understanding of ReactJs and its core principles
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Experience developing custom reusable components in ReactJS

Lead a team of software developers to deliver customer requirements,

on time, within budget while ensuring high level of quality.

● Tracking a project against schedules and taking corrective actions on

slippage. Escalation to the next level in case of slippage / likely slippage

in time or quality parameters.

● Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders

● Regular coordination with clients, internal resources and third

parties/vendors for the flawless execution of the project

● Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within

budget

● Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all

relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

● Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

● Report and escalate to management as needed

● Perform risk management to minimize potential risks

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with hands-on expertise in Core Java, Angular/ React and SQL.
• Good expertise in microservices.
• Good experience in cloud platform, AWS preferred.
• Experience with RESTful services and APIs.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

• 12 to 16 years of experience in enterprise level software architecture, design, development (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
• Experienced in Full Stack product development
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or a related field
• Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design and problem solving.
• Extensive knowledge and deep understanding of Java and related technologies
• Experience with modern software development methodologies: Agile/Kanban, CI/CD, DevOps, etc.
• Proficiency in Full Stack product development
• Proficiency with Java is essential.
• Proficiency with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML CSS is essential
• Proficient with REST APIs
• Proficient with product development experience on both front end and back end
• Experience with AWS and/or other public cloud technologies.
• Database Experience (query optimization, index generation, caching) or NoSQL DBs a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4-13 years developing n-tier modern software applications in a highly transparent agile organization with iterations, continuous integration, and a drive for quality
• At least 4 years of experience in software development building Web Services in Java, SpringBoot, Elasticsearch, and Open source technologies
• At least 4 years UI programming experience with JavaScript, CSS, JSON
• At least 3 years using ReactJS or VueJS, jQuery and Bootstrap, or similar frameworks
• Experienced in service layer integration (e.g. data, authentication, 3rd party systems) using Ajax and REST APIs.
• Experienced in UI and backend unit testing, functional testing, and performance testing tools.
• Must have experience building responsive web applications and related best practices.
• Experience in building Micro Services using cloud native environments like Azure, Spring Cloud, AWS or GCP with sound understanding of Micro Services Design Patterns
• Strong interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills
• Experience with real-time streaming processing (Kafka/Storm) is preferred
• Proven ability to design and implement web services in a RESTful manner, along with understanding our broader service-oriented architectures
• Proven ability to work within a cross functional agile team
• Must be a self-starter and able to work well with others in a fast-paced agile environment with an emphasis on collaborating and assisting the team to meet business objectives
• Ability to use tools such as JIRA, Git, etc. preferred
• Experience with containerized environments such as PCF, Docker, etc. is highly desirable

Strong experience on core Java (Version >=1.8 )

Strong experience on Spring ecosystem (Core, MVC, data, JPA, transaction management, security, AOP, Batch & Boot). Comfortable performing integration tests in Spring context.

Strong experience on JDBC and DB concepts.

Experience of TDD/BDD approach and prior experience working with CI/CD tools (Maven, Git, jenkins)

Strong experience on ORM (hibernate) and PL/SQL procedures

Knowledge of some of UI latest languages / frameworks ( Html5, Angular 4+)

Knowledge of SOA/Microservices (REST, Soap) and its challenges

Strong knowledge on APP server (Tomcat, Weblogic)

Strong knowledge on Microservices
