What you’ll actually do (for real)

• Build and ship core product features (mostly backend, some frontend)
• Work on business-critical flows: orders, inventory, webhooks, async jobs
• Debug real production issues — not toy problems
• Take ownership of features from idea → production → iteration
• Collaborate directly with founders on product decisions

Tech stack (what we use today)

• Backend: Node.js
• Database: MongoDB, Apollo
• Infrastructure: AWS (Lambda, SQS), Redis
• Frontend (secondary): React

You don’t need to know everything here — but you should be comfortable learning fast.

What we’re looking for

You should have:

• 2–5 years of real production experience
• Experience shipping features that real users depended on
• Comfort reading and improving existing codebases
• Solid fundamentals (async flows, APIs, data handling)
• Ability to work independently without hand-holding

• Have worked on SaaS or B2B products
• Understand e-commerce, payments, or inventory flows

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Experience:

3-9 Years of experience into C#, .Net & WPF(mandatory).

Technology skills:

Mandatory

 Strong background in Software Development/Engineering

 Good experience of the n-Tier architectures with REST web services (WebAPI would be a plus).

 Hands on experience with .NET 4.5, C#, WPF with MVVM or PRISM and WebAPI or WCF

 Should have worked on SQL Server

 Worked on LINQ and Entity Framework

 Sound Knowledge of SOA Principles.

 Experience with Agile/Scrum Organization.

 Experience with ATDD / TDD (Fitnesse for the ATDD would be a plus)

 Experience with Continuous Integration environments (TeamCity would be a plus)

Full Stack Developer at Roarke will be responsible for building scalable software applications and is comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries.  He/she is responsible for developing and designing front end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and working alongside graphic designers for application design features, among other duties

Responsibilities:

• Interface with technical team to determine reporting requirements of a given project
• Developing front-end website architecture.
• Designing user interactions on web pages.
• Developing back-end website applications.
• Creating servers and databases for functionality.
• Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
• Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
• Designing and developing APIs.
• Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
• Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of essential front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• At least one server-side programming language like Java, Python, PHP, Ruby, etc.

Responsibilities

• Hands-On development of the core components of the Product Platform
• Liaison with the Technical Architect and Project Manager to understand project scope and objectives
• Break-up overall project scope into a manageable set of tasks and help the Project Manager define Sprints
• Own the Technical Design for different components of the Product Platform
• Help the Project Manager develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
• Develop the product as per design and structure using appropriate technologies meeting the requirements, quality standards and timelines.
• Technical Mentoring of the Team in an effective and efficient manner to uphold quality
• Provide early insights on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about progress and potential risks
• Escalate issues affecting project delivery to appropriate levels within the company and/or vendor and track them to resolution
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and technical standards throughout project execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field or MCA
• 7-10 years of hands-on technical experience with 2-3 years of leading a team
• Strong command over Java, NodeJS, ReactJS, and similar Full Stack technologies
• Strong SQL and NoSQL knowledge for databases like MySQL and MongoDB
• Strong understanding of Git and related strategies like Pull Requests, merging, etc.
• Experience with GoLang preferred
• Exposure to DevOps over at least one Cloud Platforms like AWS or Azure in addition to the experience in developing cloud-native applications
• Strong familiarity with software tools like JIRA, Agile, TDD/BDD methodologies, and best practices
• Strong understanding of Algorithms and Design Patterns with proven ability to solve problems creatively
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, quality, budget, and timeline
