Patient calling representatives address patients' concerns about their accounts • Help with billing issues and negotiate to collect unpaid debt • Their duties include creating payment plans and taking patients' payments • When a patient's account has an overdue balance, the patient account representative calls the patient to discuss recovering the payment • Good phone communication skills help working with patients and clearly explaining policies and details.
