Senior Manager - Engineering
Responsibilities:
• Effectively manage and lead a team of software engineers in Bangalore and their projects working on mobile games.
• Report to manager in Montreal, Canada.
• Monitor reliability and performance of all internal systems to suggest improvements.
• Work with stakeholders including product management, quality & certification, product support and solution architecture to deliver high quality, reliable & scalable products.
• Ensure compliance with security regulations.
• Manage software development projects by setting requirements, goals and timelines.
• The role calls for active role in people management, mentoring & coaching, designing solutions for
complex problems & delivering these solutions on quality and within committed timelines.
• Design strategies for future development projects based on the company’s overall objectives and resources.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders for new integrations and tools.

Requirements:
• BE/BTECH/MSc in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field.
• Work experience as Manager or Director Engineering leading an engineering team of 5+.
• 8-10 years of hands-on experience.
• Experience working on multiple modern programming languages and platforms (Node.js, Typescript,
React, AWS (Lambda, AppSync, Cognito, RDS).
• Extensive experience with cloud technologies and modern human-computer interfaces.
• Hands-on experience in back-end and front-end development.
• Good understanding of agile methodologies.
• Leadership abilities with a strategic mind.
• Excellent project management skills.

We are looking for a strong Java Developer to join our team! As a Java Developer, you will have to have a strong under-
standing of Java and the different frameworks like Spring, etc., and have experience working on Cloud and Containers.

The Developer will perform duties and tasks to support a complete life cycle management (example: Analysis, Technical

Duties & Responsibilities
 Conducts systems and requirements analysis, creates and contributes to task lists, cost and time analysis
 Performs assigned functions and tasks to meet project plan and quality review requirements.
 Raises issues as appropriate to support effective resolutions.
 Analyzes specifications and user requirements to perform assigned applications development work.
 Assists with system and componentdesigns to meet requirements.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT related field
• 4-7 years of experience working across different product domains in a product development/engineering role

• Good communication skills necessary to manage business requests and work with different teams across differ-
ent geographies and time-zones; experience working with remote and distributed teams will be an added ad-
vantage

• Hands-on working knowledge and experience is requiredin:
a. Java (Spring, Spring Boot, etc.)
b. Experience working in GCP or AWS or Azure
c. Experience working in Containers & Unix Platforms
d. Relational Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL, etc.)
e. Messaging (RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka etc.)
f. Agile Methodologies (Scrum, TDD, BDD, etc.)
g. Understanding of Microservices Architecture, Domain Driver Design, Test Driven Development and
Secure Design patterns and architecture is a must
h. Data Structures and Algorithms using Java or other Programing Languages

• Experience with several of the following tools/technologies is desirable:

• Total of 2 to 8 years experience as a Sails.js/Node.js developer

• Strong team player who can communicate well, and excited to learn new

• Assist AWS infrastructure in running the required services.
• Have strong knowledge in Linux systems and server management.
• Able to efficiently configure AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Cloudwatch, IAM, Route 53, Elasticache, Redis and others.
• Adopts best development practices and modern tools such as Git, VM, Vagrant, Docker etc.
• Ensure good documentation practices and benchmark and optimize performance as necessary
• Promote infrastructure best practices like security, release management,
monitoring.
