Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in mechanical design. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience using CAD software and a good understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication drawings, and sheet metal design.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify 2D and 3D mechanical designs using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
• Prepare detailed fabrication and manufacturing drawings.
• Design sheet metal components and assemblies based on project requirements.
• Coordinate with production and fabrication teams to ensure design feasibility.
• Review and update engineering drawings as per design changes.
• Ensure designs comply with quality standards and engineering specifications.
• Support prototype development and resolve design-related issues during manufacturing.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent CAD software.
• Good understanding of mechanical design principles.
• Knowledge of fabrication drawings, sheet metal design, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Eligibility

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in mechanical design.
• Candidates with experience in fabrication or manufacturing industries will be preferred.

About the Role

Work directly with the founders to build and scale Vaayu's online business (Pretline Brand). Own the complete D2C growth engine—from customer acquisition and website conversion to retention and profitable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Own Meta & Google Ads strategy, execution, and optimization.
• Drive profitable customer acquisition and scale online revenue.
• Improve website performance by working closely with the Shopify team on landing pages, product pages, and conversion optimization (CRO).
• Build customer retention and repeat purchase strategies through CRM and remarketing.
• Monitor and improve key business metrics including ROAS, CAC, MER, AOV, CVR, LTV, Repeat Purchase Rate, and Contribution Margin.
• Collaborate with creative, content, and influencer teams to improve campaign performance and brand growth.
• Identify growth opportunities through data analysis, testing, and experimentation.

What We're Looking For

• 5–8 years of hands-on core D2C performance marketing experience.
• Proven experience growing a fashion, lifestyle, beauty, or premium consumer D2C brand.
• Strong expertise in Meta Ads, Google Ads, Shopify, conversion optimization, and retention marketing.
• Deep understanding of the complete D2C growth funnel—from acquisition to repeat purchase.
• High ownership, commercial mindset, and ability to execute in a fast-paced founder-led environment.

Skills: Java, spring, hibernate, AWS(mandatory), microservices architecture, redis(good to have)

Team Size: Current team size of tech team is 65+

Interview Process: 4 rounds( 1st round - Problem Solving/Data Structures, 2nd Round- Coding, 3rd Round- Technical Discussion and Final round with the HR).

· Exceptional architecture and design skills using Object Oriented Programming concepts and Design patterns

· Strong problem solving and analytical skills

· Hands on Java Engineer, with experience building consumer facing or enterprise applications using Java stack

· Ability to manage small teams (4-6 members) using agile development process

· Exposure to building service oriented distributed systems

· In building systems that process big data in a distributed environment, either in real time streaming or offline batching.

• EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION- Relevant degree or Masters/ Bachelors in Business / Corporate Law / IP Law.
• SOFTWARE & APPLICATIONS- Tech-savvy with good knowledge of MS Office, G Suite, can adapt to other technologies very quickly.
