Primary Accountabilities:

1. Use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create front-end interfaces that are easy to use.

2. Create and manage databases, APIs, and server-side logic.

3. Understanding of web development best practices, including responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization.

4. Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize web apps.

5. Work together as a team to produce high-calibre outputs.

Qualifications:

1. Experience with D2C websites is required for the candidate (Mandate).

2. Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress) for both design and code. (Mandate)

3. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

4. Experience with UI/UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.). (Prefer)

5. Knowledge of Redux. (Prefer)

6. Competence with front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) and technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Role Overview:

We’re looking for passionate mobile developers eager to build meaningful products at the intersection of education, automation, and community. You’ll work directly with the founding team on real-world projects, from MVP development to production-ready apps.

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile apps using React Native (Android & iOS).

We are hiring for a Software Engineer Team Lead - Backend, to join our education-focused fintech lending startup, GrayQuest. Our core product is a combination of a lending product, a rewards product and an insurance product to redefine the education fees payment across the country.

• Participate in all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle
• Develop back-end components, services, and APIs. Support integration of user-facing elements, and collaborate closely with the design and front-end development team.
• Write elegant, effective, and scalable code while maintaining the highest level of coding standards.
• Take complete ownership of projects and ensure timely deliveries
• Ability to debug, refine, review, and deploy code
• Work closely with the QA team to test, and document project features.
• Ability to interact with all stakeholders. Understand business requirements, and effectively convert them into technical specifications
