About the Role 

As a result of our rapid growth, we are looking for a Java Backend Engineer to join our existing Cloud Engineering team and take the lead in the design and development of several key initiatives of our existing Miko3 product line as well as our new product development initiatives. 

Responsibilities 

•  Designing, developing and maintaining core system features, services and engines
• Collaborating with a cross functional team of the backend, Mobile application, AI, signal processing, robotics Engineers, Design, Content, and Linguistic Team to realize the requirements of conversational social robotics platform which includes investigate design approaches, prototype new technology, and evaluate technical feasibility
• Ensure the developed backend infrastructure is optimized for scale and responsiveness 
• Ensure best practices in design, development, security, monitoring, logging, and DevOps adhere to the execution of the project. 
• Introducing new ideas, products, features by keeping track of the latest developments and industry trends 
• Operating in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules

Requirements 

• Proficiency in distributed application development lifecycle (concepts of authentication/authorization, security, session management, load balancing, API gateway), programming techniques and tools (application of tested, proven development paradigms)  
• Proficiency in working on Linux based Operating system. 
• Working Knowledge of container orchestration platform like Kubernetes
• Proficiency in at least one server-side programming language like Java. Additional languages like Python and PHP are a plus 
• Proficiency in at least one server-side framework like Servlets, Spring, java spark (Java). 
• Proficient in using ORM/Data access frameworks like Hibernate,JPA with spring or other server-side frameworks. 
• Proficiency in at least one data serialization framework: Apache Thrift, Google ProtoBuffs, Apache Avro,Google Json,JackSon etc. 
• Proficiency in at least one of inter process communication frameworks WebSocket's, RPC, message queues, custom HTTP libraries/frameworks ( kryonet, RxJava ), etc.  
• Proficiency in multithreaded programming and Concurrency concepts (Threads, Thread Pools, Futures, asynchronous programming). 
• Experience defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility tradeoffs (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling)
• Experience developing cloud software services and an understanding of design for scalability, performance and reliability
• Good understanding of networking and communication protocols, and proficiency in identification CPU, memory & I/O bottlenecks, solve read & write-heavy workloads. 
• Proficiency is concepts of monolithic and microservice architectural paradigms. 
• Proficiency in working on at least one of cloud hosting platforms like Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, Azure etc.   
• Proficiency in at least one of database SQL, NO-SQL, Graph databases like MySQL, MongoDB, Orientdb 
• Proficiency in at least one of testing frameworks or tools JMeter, Locusts, Taurus 
• Proficiency in at least one RPC communication framework: Apache Thrift, GRPC is an added plus 
• Proficiency in asynchronous libraries (RxJava), frameworks (Akka),Play,Vertx is an added plus 
• Proficiency in functional programming ( Scala ) languages is an added plus

Requirements:

1.3+ years of strong programming experience with .Net Framework and .Net Core based software applications. (.NET,.NET Core, C#, ASP.Net, JavaScript framworks, Web API, MS SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Docker, Azure Cloud)

2. Strong knowledge of Microservices based Architecture, Design Patterns and Principles.(Optional) / Hands on experience on React Js /Redux (Optional)

3. Prior experience in handling application with larger volumes of data .

4. 3+ years of experience of designing high-performance enterprise software application.

5. Works with application development team to solve technical challenges with industry best practices.

6. Addresses and resolves complex technical issues with internal/external customers.

7. Design software systems with various Microsoft technologies and ensure compliance to all architecture requirements.

8. Review infrastructure for any issues and recommend solutions.

We are seeking an experienced Business Central Techno-Functional Consultant with 4-8 years of relevant experience to join our team. As a Business Central Techno-Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical and functional expertise in the implementation, customization, and support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly known as NAV) solutions. You will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, configure the system, and ensure successful deployment and user adoption.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to gather business requirements and understand their processes, workflows, and pain points.
• Design and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions to meet client needs, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
• Provide technical expertise in customizing and extending the functionality of Business Central through extensions, integrations, and other development tools.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution during implementation phases to ensure system functionality and data integrity.
• Assist in data migration and data integration activities, ensuring accurate and seamless transfer of data from legacy systems to Business Central.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, functional consultants, and project managers, to deliver successful projects within defined timelines and budgets.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Techno-Functional Consultant working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly NAV) for a minimum of 4-8 years.
• Strong knowledge of Business Central functionality, including financials, supply chain management, manufacturing, and project management modules.
• Proficiency in developing extensions using AL language, C/SIDE, and C/AL programming.
• Experience with data migration and integration tools, such as RapidStart, SQL Server, or Power Platform.
• Familiarity with Azure, Power BI, and other Microsoft technologies related to Business Central is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
