As an Android Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of Android applications using Kotlin and Java, ensuring high performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Work with UX/UI designers to implement and refine user interfaces. Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and services.
• Identify and resolve issues and bugs in applications. Optimize application performance and enhance stability.
• Participate in code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Support the architecture and implementation of robust and scalable solutions under the guidance of senior developers.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to Android development.

Minimum Requirements

• 1 - 3 years of professional experience in Android development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java, with a solid understanding of Android SDK and modern development practices.
• Experience with Android development tools such as Android Studio and Gradle.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and frameworks such as Retrofit, Dagger, and Room.
• Basic experience in implementing user interfaces and understanding of material design principles.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like JUnit and UI testing tools like Espresso.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Good communication and collaboration skills

Mobile Engineering Intern

We care about building products that work in production - not just in demos. As a mobile engineering intern, you won't spend four months on a disposable internship project. You'll work with our engineers on real application features and learn how production mobile software behaves outside perfect Wi-Fi and simulator environments.

What You'll Build?

• Build and improve features in our production mobile applications.

• Work with camera, audio, permissions, storage, networking, and other device capabilities.

• Handle real-world mobile conditions such as slow networks, interrupted uploads, background execution, and app lifecycle changes.

• Integrate mobile experiences with backend APIs and services.

• Debug crashes and functional issues using logs, device tools, and observability.

• Write tests and participate in code reviews, releases, and technical discussions.

What We're Looking For?

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Strong programming fundamentals and curiosity about how mobile systems work.

• Experience building at least one meaningful Android, iOS, Flutter, or React Native application.

• Comfort with Git, APIs, JSON, and basic debugging.

• Ability to learn independently, ask good questions, and take feedback.

Bonus Points

• Kotlin, Swift, Flutter/Dart, React Native, or TypeScript experience.

• Published app, substantial side project, hackathon product, or open-source contribution.

• Experience with camera/audio APIs, local storage, background jobs, or offline-first applications.

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON integration. 
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. 
• Understanding of Material Design principles and mobile UI/UX best practices. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience with Jetpack Compose, Firebase, or cloud-based services. 
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and mobile app deployment. 
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. 
• Published applications on the Google Play Store. 
• Portfolio or GitHub projects showcasing Android development expertise.
