ABOUT THE JOB:

Oogwai Analytics is hiring a young, internet-native content creator to lead organic video content across YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X. We're not looking for a "post-and-pray" person — we want someone who lives and breathes short-form video, understands what makes content spread, and can turn our products into content people actually want to watch and share.

If you spend your free time studying reels, dissecting why a video blew up, tracking creators before they go mainstream, and already have opinions on hooks, pacing, and thumbnails — this is your job.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create organic video content for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, X

• Own the content calendar across all four platforms, tailoring format and tone to each

• Stay on top of trends, sounds, formats, and platform algorithm shifts

• Research and identify relevant influencers/creators for collabs and organic amplification

• Track trends to spot what's working, experiment,

• Write scroll-stopping hooks, captions, and titles for each platform

• Monitor performance and adapt based on whats working.

• Needs to have fun.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1-3 years of experience — instinct and portfolio matter more than resume

• Genuine obsession with social media — can explain why and what content works

• Hands-on video shooting and editing experience (phone-shot is fine)

• Working knowledge of InShot, Canva or any similar tool.

• Understanding reel hooks, retention, shareability

• Experience researching creators/influencers for collabs

• Basic copywriting skills for captions, hooks, titles. English fluency.

• Self-starter, minimal hand-holding needed

GOOD TO HAVE:

• A personal social account/channel you've grown yourself

• Familiarity with YouTube Studio

Job Title: Senior Data Engineer (Kafka & AWS)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain real-time data pipelines using Apache Kafka (MSK or Confluent) and AWS services.
• Configure and manage Kafka connectors, ensuring seamless data flow and integration across systems.
• Demonstrate strong expertise in the Kafka ecosystem, including producers, consumers, brokers, topics, and schema registry.
• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT workflows to efficiently process large volumes of data.
• Optimize data lake and data warehouse solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, S3, and Glue.

• Monitor and triage IT Helpdesk requests through the Ticketing system and escalation Slack Channel and Emails

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND / SKILLS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree or related experience required.
• CompTIA A+ certification a plus
• 6+ years of relevant technical experience in a Help Desk, System Admin, or Desktop Support role
• Strong Knowledge of Google Suite, Atlassian, and Okta administration
• Strong Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Google Script, etc)
