Job Title: Jr. Accountant

About the Role
P99soft is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Jr. Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting operations, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and bookkeeping. This role requires strong knowledge of Zoho Books, GST compliance, monthly book closure activities, and payroll-related statutory filings.
The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and bookkeeping activities using Zoho Books.
• Perform monthly book closure activities and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers.
• Handle GST reconciliation and ensure timely filing of GST returns.
• Support statutory compliance activities and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist in TDS calculations, deductions, and return filing processes.
• Manage PF and ESI filings and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Prepare financial reports, MIS reports, and accounting documentation.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal stakeholders when required.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and statutory requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Must have hands on experience with Zoho Books .
• Strong understanding of monthly book closure processes.
• Experience in GST reconciliation and GST return filing.
• Knowledge of PF & ESI filings.
• Understanding of TDS and TDS return filing is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
