Job Description: We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Databricks, PySpark, and distributed computing to develop and optimize scalable ETL pipelines for manufacturing analytics. The role involves working with high-frequency industrial data to enable real-time and batch data processing.

Key Responsibilities · Build scalable real-time and batch processing workflows using Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Apache Spark.

· Perform data pre-processing, including cleaning, transformation, deduplication, normalization, encoding, and scaling to ensure high-quality input for downstream analytics.

· Design and maintain cloud-based data architectures, including data lakes, lakehouses, and warehouses, following Medallion Architecture.

· Deploy and optimize data solutions on Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.

· Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data from IoT, MES, SCADA, LIMS, and ERP systems. · Automate data workflows using CI/CD and DevOps best practices, ensuring security and compliance with industry standards

· Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data pipelines for high availability and reliability.

· Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for scalable data processing.

· Collaborate with automation team, data scientists and engineers to provide clean, structured data for AI/ML models.

Desired Skills and Qualifications · Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· 7+ years of experience in core data engineering, with a strong focus on cloud platforms such as Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP · Proficiency in PySpark, Azure Databricks, Python and Apache Spark, etc.

. 2 years of team handling experience.

· Expertise in relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL), time series databases (e.g. Influx DB), and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) · Experience in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

· Good to have MLOps, DevOps including model lifecycle management

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively as a team player.

· Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and responsibilities.

1. Proficiency in Python 3.x based web and backend development

2. Solid understanding of Python concepts

3. Experience with some form of Machine Learning (ML)

4. Experience in using libraries such as Numpy and Pandas

5. Some form of experience with NLP and Deep Learning using any of Pytorch, Tensorflow, Keras, Scikit-learn or similar

6. Hands on experience with RDBMS such as Postgres or MySQL

7. Experience building REST APIs using DRF or Flask

8. Comfort with Git repositories, branching and deployment using Git

9. Working experience with Docker

10. Basic working knowledge of ReactJs

11. Experience in deploying Django applications to AWS,Digital Ocean or Heroku

CTC Budget: 35-55LPA

• 6 plus years of experience as a Python developer.
• Experience in web development using Python and Django Framework.
• Experience in Data Analysis and Data Science using Pandas, Numpy and Scifi-Kit - (GTH)
• Experience in developing User Interface using HTML, JavaScript, CSS.

The Role

• Create fast and functional and intuitive interfaces.
• Create mobile responsive web pages that work on desktop, tablets and smart phones.
• Create well-written JavaScript, as well as expanding current JavaScript code.
• Create and maintain web forms that integrate with our CRM.
• Assist with API integration for dynamic email/web prospect and customer communications.
• Translate designs and style guides provided by the UI/UX team into functional user interfaces, ensure cross-browser compatibility and performance.
• Create functional pages and banners from design mock-ups.
• Test code across platforms and browsers.
• Document work and communicate issues when they arise.
• Assist troubleshooting production issues.

Requirement:

• Associate degree in a technology-related field required (bachelor’s degree preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in front-end development in a start-up or similar work environment.
• 1+ experience with Front End frameworks such as Angular 2.0/React JS/React Native.
• Knowledge of web standards and accessibility (W3C and s508).
• Ability to create production-quality CSS, SASS, and HTML for web applications with support for mobile and tablet devices.
• Good understanding of web-based application architecture.
• Designing/coding to overcome browser/platform constraints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and JavaScript Knowledge.
• Ability to learn new tasks outside immediate range of skills.
• Able to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues
• Deadline oriented and able to multi-task in a fast pace environment.
• Knowledge of unit test frameworks like karma, Jasmine, Mocha, Chai etc.
