Key Responsibilities
The primary focus of this role is the accurate and timely execution of changes and reporting across multiple Google Ads accounts, specifically involving
- Execution of Campaign Strategies & Quality Assurance:
This involves the manual and precise implementation of all specified campaign levers based on provided input files, with a strict focus on accuracy:
o Campaign Implementation: Manual execution and verification of changes related to campaign structure, assets, audience signals, search themes, location targets, bid adjustments, negative keywords, etc. based on detailed input files.
o Conversion Tracking Implementation: Uploading Google Click IDs (GCLIDs) to the Google Ads platform for offline conversion tracking and measurement, ensuring correct mapping and adherence to privacy protocols.
o Data Translation & Accuracy: Meticulously reviewing and translating inputs from Excel/Google Sheets into the live Google Ads UI, ensuring zero-error implementation.
o Quality Assurance: Maintaining a comprehensive log of all executed changes for quality assurance and audit purposes.
2. Performance Tracking and Reporting:
This involves the collection, processing, and presentation of campaign data to support business decisions:
o Campaign Monitoring: Tracking overall campaign details, performance metrics, and budgets on a daily or weekly basis to ensure operational health.
o Manual Report Creation: Creating and updating manual performance reports for dealers and internal stakeholders using Google Ads UI reports or internal databases using SQL, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery.
Required Qualifications
o Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of hands-on, practical experience exclusively executing changes within the Google Ads UI and Google Analytics/ Tags Manager across multiple accounts. 3 to 5 years of experience overall.
o Platform Proficiency: Working knowledge of the Google Ads UI, including the ability to navigate complex account structures and features (specifically Performance Max campaigns).
o Technical Data Expertise: Demonstrated ability to work with large data sets and perform manual data pulls using:
§ SQL (Expertise Required): Ability to execute queries for report generation and data verification.
§ Excel/Google Sheets: Advanced proficiency for data manipulation, cleaning, and presentation.
o Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on detail and accuracy is non-negotiable. Must be capable of translating detailed spreadsheet data into the live platform without errors.
o Process Driven: Proven ability to follow standardized, step-by-step instructions and processes efficiently and consistently.
o Communication: Clear written communication skills to report on task status and flag any discrepancies in input files. It will be a differentiator if they also add value by pushing and pulling using their existing knowledge and help in doing the right thing.
Preferred Qualifications
o Prior experience working on high-volume, highly complex Google Ads accounts.
o Understanding of the purpose behind the executed tasks (e.g., how negative keywords impact campaigns, the function of Audience Signals).
