Looking for Core PHP developers working in a software product (ERP for university)

Working in Main modules such as inventory/payroll/HR/attendance/LMS/Fee

Should be very efficient in writing optimized queries (handling bulk data)

Skills required:

Requirements

1. 5 – 8 years of proven experience as a Core PHP Developer or similar role

2. Strong proficiency in Core PHP (Version >= 7.0), with a good understanding of its ecosystem and the latest PHP standards

3. Experience with MySQL or other relational databases

4. Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git

5. Understanding of MVC design patterns and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles

6. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services integration

7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel and Vue.js (PHP) framework.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Test and debug applications to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements.

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development.

Optimize application performance and scalability.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.

Create and maintain technical documentation for applications.

Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in PHP programming language

Experience with Laravel framework

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery

Understanding of MVC architecture

Experience with database management systems such as MySQL

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git

Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)

Relevant certifications such as CodeIgniter Certified Developer (optional)

Roles and Responsibilities

• PHP and WordPress development, WordPress CMS Installation, theme customizations.
• Handle Team of developers
• Responsible for plugin development, theme integration.
• Responsible for handling a project independently.
• Developing requirements & planning documentation considering the WordPress framework.
• Customizing and publishing content using existing WordPress themes.
• Collaborate with the designing and programming team.
• Communicating with and managing multiple clients.
• Proactively review WordPress components, widgets, and plugins to keep all solutions at the cutting-edge and maintain security.
• Developing, maintaining and optimizing secure, reusable and scalable websites.
• Work closely with Project Managers and other members of the Development Team to develop detailed specification documents with clear project deliverables and timelines, and to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Communicate to the Project Manager with efficiency and accuracy of any progress or delays Engage in outside-the-box thinking to provide high value-of-service to the clients.

Ideal skills and experience required

• min. 1-2 years experience in PHP and WordPress development, WordPress CMS Installation, theme customizations.
• Leadership quality to run the tech team on website on WordPress, UIs and technical efficiency towards improving and tracking the faults on daily basis and resolving abilities
• Projection towards campaigns from the technical (website) point of view
• Experience of at least 2 international projects.
• Ability to work in an Agile /SCRUM environment.
• Should have problem-solving, prioritizing tasks, and multi-tasking abilities
• Knowledge of consuming and creating Web Services is a plus.
• Good time-management skills.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Should possess strong knowledge of SEO, Secure sites, WordPress, Web Design
• Good knowledge of WordPress development and life cycle (theme hierarchy, plugins, etc.
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development. Experience in front-end technologies like HTML5,CSS3,Bootstrap4,JavaScript,PHP.
• Basic Knowledge of Core PHP, MySQL Database.
