Fullstack Developer

We are looking to recruit an expert for backend software development at Webnyay. We are an enterprise SaaS startup catering to India and international markets. We are now growing fast and need a rockstar senior software developer who is an expert in Python/Django and GCP.

What we are looking for:

• At least 6 years of professional software development experience.
• At least 4 years of experience with Python & Django.
• Proficiency in Natural Language Processing (tokenization, stopword removal, lemmatization, embeddings, etc.)
• Experience in computer vision fundamentals, particularly object detection concepts and architectures (e.g., YOLO, Faster R-CNN)
• Experience in search and retrieval systems and related concepts like ranking models, vector search, or semantic search techniques
• Experience with multiple databases (relational and non-relational).
• Experience with hosting on GCP and other cloud services.
• Familiar with continuous integration and other automation.
• Focus on code quality and writing scalable code.
• Ability to learn and adopt new technologies depending on business requirements.
• Prior startup experience will be a plus!

Some of your responsibilities would include:

• Work closely in a highly AGILE environment with a team of engineers.
• Create and maintain technical documentation of technical design and solution.
• Build products/features that are highly scalable, secure, highly available, high performing and cost-effective.

• Explore and work with LLM APIs and Generative AI.
• Make performance-related recommendations, identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks (hardware, software, configuration); drive performance tuning, re-design and re-factoring.
• Participate in the software development lifecycle, which includes research, new development, modification, security, reuse, re-engineering and maintenance of common component libraries.
• Participate in product definition and feature prioritization.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders across business verticals.

Role: Sr Full Stack SW Developer

Location: Okhla, New Delhi

Experience: Minimum: 7 Years

In this role, the person will be responsible for developing and implementing solutions using React.js, Node Js, JSX, Expressand MySQL concepts, and workflows such as Redux, Flux, and Webpack. The candidate will also be responsible for profiling and improving front-end & back-end performance and documenting our codebase. A top-class React.js Developer should be able to design and build modern user interface components to enhance application performance.

Responsibilities

• Ability to translate Wireframes and PSD Designs into functional web apps using HTML5, React, Redux, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Express, JSX, and MySQL.
• Creating RESTful services with Node.js & MySQL.
• AWS (Amazon Web Services) development & services like EC2, CloudFront, S3, load balancer, etc.
• Architect scalable web architectures.
• Work in a cross-functional team to deliver a complete user experience.
• Create Unit and Integration tests to ensure the quality of code.
• Be responsive to change requests and feature requests.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented experience as a Full Stack Developer/Lead creating React, Redux, Node js and (RDBMS) MySQL-based solutions.
• Ability to work both independently and in collaborative teams to communicate design and build ideas effectively.
• Fluent knowledge of the latest HTML/CSS, JavaScript & Typescript standards, and best practices.
• Strong hands-on of Node.js, Express server, and RESTful web APIs.
• Strong Hadson of MySQL or any other SQL-based RDBMS.
• Strong Hands-on in integrating AWS services into the application. AWS developer certificate will be a plus but not mandatory.
• Solid understanding of HTTP protocol and how server-side code is processed on the client.
• Working knowledge of front-end optimization and performance techniques.
• Obsession with lean, clean, and organized front-end code.
• Cross-browser development and troubleshooting.
• Experience building Responsive websites for web, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Good understanding of overall web design including basic usability, accessibility, industry standards, architecture, and navigation.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in MS Excel, and Presentation. Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and Notion is a plus. 
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills. 
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. 
• Ability to work well in a team environment. 
• Experience with project management tools and software. 
• Ability to identify project risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans.

• Play a complete Backend development role for Magento store development, maintenance, upgradation and customization projects. Also provide support to clients, via project management tool. Handle the complete project and achieve 100% client satisfaction.
• Must posses fair, clear understanding of fundamentals and concepts of Magento 1/2, PHP, Zend Framework
• Knowledge in Magento Extension development.
• Write well-engineered source code that complies with accepted web standards.
• Good experience in Magento 2 Store development - design implementation, creating themes, create custom modules;
• Strong Knowledge of Magento Best Practices, including experience developing custom extensions and extending third party extensions
• Ability to develop and manage e-commerce websites, web applications, and websites.
• Can understand the goals and create strategies for each project.

Technical Skills:

• Possess good exposure on Magento, CMS, CodeIgnitor, OpenCart, JavaScript/ jQuery.
• Extensive experience of PHP and MySQL.
• Focused on Object-Oriented Programming (OOP),
• Demonstrable knowledge of XML, XHTML, CSS, Modules i.e. API integration, Payment Gateways, XML with a focus on standards.
