Fullstack Developer

Flexiple's infrastructure is heavily powered by Ruby on Rails, and we're keen to onboard smart Ruby developers with some experience on JavaScript to help us build amazing web apps!

You'll be part of Flexiple's core engineering team and get a chance to work on multiple Ruby/JS apps, that are built for performance & scale. A typical day of engineering work at Flexiple would involve backend ruby work and getting your hands dirty in the frontend.

Our apps are built for internal & external users, and a few of them get 1 million+ monthly hits! We'd love for you to help us build performant systems that function at such scale.

We don't make compromises in design or code and all our apps are robust, fast and well-tested. However, we also focus equally on speed of development, which is typical of the startup dev culture. So you'll see the best of both worlds at Flexiple!

This is a fully remote position that can be done from anywhere. The CTC can be increased based on the experience of the individual (up to 20 lpa).

• Build & deploy robust, well-tested products/features that are used by millions of users.

First week:

• Join the team, understand Flexiple's practices & processes.
• Set up your local dev environment

• Create your first pull request.

First month:

• Get acquainted with the different products and their business domain.
• Contribute actively to the development of one or more products.
• Develop a deeper understanding of Flexiple's product suite, technology and processes.

First six months:

• Contribute actively to product planning, software development, testing and maintenance.
• Suggest and implement improvements to our dev processes and codebase.
• Lead tech initiatives for Flexiple's products.

• 1+ years of software development experience
• Past experience with Ruby on Rails and HTML/CSS/JavaScript
• Developed at least 2-4 production-quality web apps (at work or personal projects; can be any technology/ stack)
• Excellent grasp over algorithms and data structures
• Ability to learn and master new technologies quickly
• Passionate about building robust web/ mobile/ desktop apps and stay updated with the latest technologies/ frameworks
• Outstanding written and communication skills

Backend Developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users.

Your primary focus will be the development of all server side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

We are looking to recruit a candidate for a role that will require:

• Create and consume restful APIs

About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned Java Developer with 6+ years of experience to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and cloud-based deployment using AWS or DevOps tools. This is a hybrid role based out of our Whitefield, Bangalore location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in agile development processes and scrum ceremonies.

• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, ReactJS, and NodeJS is required 
• Proficiency in data structures, database concepts, algorithms and observability is required
• Working knowledge of event-driven architecture and Kafka preferred

1. Coordinate with project managers and team to create detailed project plans for

4. Working Experience in Laravel HMVC, Hooks & Plug-in Methodologies. Laravel
is Preferrable.
5. HTML5, CSS3, XML knowledge is mandatory. And experience with JavaScript
and jQuery for producing AJAX applications.
6. Ability to make modifications to the systems with little or no interruption of
service.
7. Exposure to REST API Development & API integrations.
8. Working Experience in Composer & PHP Libraries.
