Firebase Backend Engineer - Intern

Experience: 4+ years

We are looking for a NodeJS / full stack developer responsible for the development and maintenance of scalable backend applications. Your primary focus will be the development of NodeJS applications and their integration with frontend services like React Web App. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design and the creation of quality products is essential.

• 3+ years of experience in Nodejs
• Having a good understanding & hands-On of AWS services like – IAM, Lambda, DynamoDB, ElasticCache, OpenSearch and AppSync 
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Node.js + Express and frameworks available for it.
• Experienced with NoSQL DB
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
• Implementation of security and data protection

Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

We're looking for Senior Node js backend developers with over 2+ years of experience and strong expertise in Javascript based development using Node js and Express. We are looking for cadidates who are go-getters and are leaning towards leadership positions. Candidates must have a proven history of building, scaling, optimising and securing Node js based backends and APIs using a microservice architecture.

Bonus Skill : Experience with ReactJs, Postgres

We would prefer candidates who can join immediately or are currently serving their notice period.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, or similar.
• At least two years of experience as a Node.js developer.
