About AM:PM

AM:PM is a news platform built for short-form video reels for Gen Z and millennials who want to stay informed without sitting through a panel of five people agreeing with each other for 40 minutes. We go deep without going slow. We understand internet culture because we live in it, not because we read a report about it.

Why this role matters

The internet produces thousands of stories every hour. The challenge isn't finding content, it's finding the right content. This role exists to identify newsworthy videos, trending conversations, and cultural moments, verify what matters, and package them into content people actually want to click, watch, and share.

What you will own

1. Scout newsworthy videos, creator content, and trending conversations across multiple platforms.
2. Identify stories and moments worth publishing on AM:PM.
3. Research and fact-check information before it reaches our audience.
4. Write compelling headlines, video titles, push notifications, captions, and social copy.
5. Work closely with the editorial and video teams to package stories for maximum reach and engagement.
6. Stay on top of politics, business, technology, entertainment, sports, and internet culture to ensure AM:PM is always ahead of the conversation.
7. Move fast without compromising accuracy, credibility, or editorial standards.

Who you are

• 0-2 years of experience through internships, freelance work, journalism, digital media, content or editorial roles.
• You instinctively know where trends and stories break first.
• You can write headlines and notifications that make people stop scrolling.
• You have strong news judgment and understand the importance of fact-checking.
• You are internet-native, curious, resourceful, and obsessed with what's happening online.
• Based in Mumbai or willing to relocate within commutable distance.

This is a 0-to-1 journey. You will help define how AM:PM discovers, packages, and delivers stories for the next generation of news consumers. Bring your writing, projects, or anything that proves you know how to spot a story before everyone else does.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design and develop advanced AI/ML models to solve complex business problems
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers and domain experts
• Perform exploratory data analysis, data cleaning, and model development
• Translate business challenges into data-driven solutions and actionable insights
• Drive innovation in advanced analytics and AI/ML capabilities
• Communicate model insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML model development
• Strong foundation in mathematics, probability, and statistics
• Proficiency in Python and exposure to Azure Machine Learning / Databricks
• Experience with supervised & unsupervised learning techniques
• Domain exposure to Energy / Oil & Gas value chain (preferred)
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.

The Javascript engineer will be responsible for the developing features in Vyapar application. Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Responsive design, JQuery, React, database etc. concepts is critical

Purpose

We are looking for Sr. Laravel Developer. The candidate must have Good level of proficiency in PHP, MySQL, object-oriented JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, XML, JSON required and Write clean PHP code in a timely and scalable way.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible to Code, Test, Deploy and Scale SaaS-based Products using PHP, MySQL, with Laravel and Lumen MVC framework.
• Can write functional requirement documents and guides others within the project / team.
• Develop, write and implement software programming applications following established architecture standards as well as software development and project management methodologies.
• Integrate / Develop to third-party APIs.
• Write high quality code using the guidelines and effectively debug the code; perform code review of junior members.
