Job Description
We’re hiring an Engineering Manager (7–12 years) who can lead a high-performing engineering team, drive product delivery, architect scalable systems, and cultivate a culture of excellence.
This role is ideal for someone who has been a strong individual contributor and is now passionate about leading people, driving execution, and shaping FOY’s technology roadmap.
Responsibilities
1. People & Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of backend, frontend, mobile, and DevOps engineers.
- Drive high performance through code quality, engineering discipline, and structured reviews.
- Build a culture of ownership, speed, and continuous improvement.
- Hire top talent and help scale the engineering org.
2. Technical Leadership & Architecture
- Work with product, design, data, and business to define the technical direction for FOY.

- Ensure security, reliability, and high availability across all systems.
3. Execution & Delivery
- Own end-to-end delivery of key product features and platform capabilities.

- Build and improve engineering processes—CI/CD pipelines, testing automation, release cycles.
- Reduce tech debt and ensure long-term maintainability.
4. Quality, Performance & Observability
- Drive standards across:

- Work closely with QA, mobile, backend, and data teams to ensure smooth releases.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product managers to translate business goals into technical outcomes.

- Balance trade-offs between speed and engineering excellence.
Requirements
- 7–12 years of hands-on engineering experience with at least 2–4 years in a leadership or tech lead role.
- Strong experience in backend development (Node/Python preferred).
- Good exposure to mobile or web engineering (Native Android/iOS).
- Strong understanding of system design, APIs, microservices, caching, databases, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
- Experience running Agile/Scrum teams with measurable delivery outputs.
- Ability to dive deep into code when required while enabling the team to succeed independently.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Passion for building user-focused products and solving meaningful problems.

The Fenergo KYC SaaS Developer / Configuration Specialist will be responsible for configuring, integrating, enhancing and supporting the Fenergo platform within LSEG’s Anti-Financial Crime technology estate.
The role requires deep practical knowledge of Fenergo KYC and Client Lifecycle Management capabilities, with the ability to translate financial crime policies, regulatory requirements and operational processes into maintainable platform configurations.
The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary Fenergo delivery team, partnering with AFC Operations, Compliance, Product, Architecture, Engineering, Testing and third-party delivery partners. They will be expected to take ownership of platform changes from requirements and solution design through configuration, testing, deployment and production support.
This is a hands-on delivery role requiring strong Fenergo product expertise, sound engineering discipline and an understanding of KYC, client lifecycle management and financial crime controls.
