Engineering Manager-E Commerce

Responsibilities: Design Development:

·        Lead the design development process, ensuring that concepts align with client preferences, project goals, and industry standards.

·        Develop comprehensive interior design schemes, including space planning, color schemes, and material selections.

Drawings and Documentation:

·        Create detailed interior drawings, plans, and elevations using industry-standard software.

·        Collaborate with architects and other design professionals to integrate interior design elements seamlessly into overall project documentation.

Vendor Coordination:

·        Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers.

·        Coordinate with vendors to source and procure materials, furniture, and fixtures that meet project specifications and budget constraints.

Shop Drawings and Specifications

·        Review and approve shop drawings to ensure they comply with design intent and project requirements.

  • Develop and communicate detailed specifications for construction and installation processes.

Quotes and Budget Management:

·         Prepare accurate and detailed project cost estimates and quotes.

·        Work closely with the project management team to monitor and manage project budgets effectively

FF&E Selection:

·         Lead the selection of furniture, fixtures, and equipment based on design concepts, client preferences, and project requirements.

·        Stay updated on industry trends and product innovations to enhance design offerings

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.

·         1 to 4 years of proven experience in interior design with a focus on commercial or residential projects.

·         Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software

·        Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and furniture procurement.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Ability to lead and collaborate within aa team environment.

·         Project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines and budgets effectively.

What You Bring • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field with 7+ years of relevant professional experience. • Deep production experience with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript across backend and frontend, with demonstrated ability to work comfortably across the full stack. • Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks (such as Next.js or React) and backend API development. • Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP also valued), including infrastructure-as-code tools (such as CloudFormation or Terraform). • Deep Working knowledge of multiple database paradigms, including relational databases (such as PostgreSQL), document databases, and key-value stores (such as Redis), with the ability to select the right storage technology for each problem. • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (such as GitHub Actions), containerisation, and production deployment strategies. • Demonstrable fluency with AI coding tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) and proven ability to design agentic engineering workflows and train teams on AI-augmented development practices. • Hands-on experience architecting production generative AI applications (LLM integrations, vector databases, RAG systems, evaluation pipelines) is essential. • Experience leading technical initiatives across multiple teams, mentoring engineers, and establishing engineering practices is required. • Experience navigating ambiguous problem spaces, working directly with business stakeholders and end users, and shipping working solutions rapidly is required. • Experience in an embedded, forward-deployed, or consulting-style engineering model is a strong plus. • Must have exceptional communication skills and demonstrated ability to influence at senior levels. This role requires comfort leading across ambiguous environments, building trust-based relationships with commercial stakeholders at all levels, developing junior and mid-level engineers, and making strategic decisions that balance delivery speed with architectural integrity. You will shape engineering practices across your area and be expected to lead multi-team initiatives.

• 2 Projects are required in the PHP language.

• 1-2 years experience - Manage MySQL on Linux/Windows environments (preferably Percona/MySQL Community/MySQL Enterprise).
• Perform routine maintenance including patching and schema management.
• Prior experience in query optimization, indexing strategies, and slow query analysis is a plus

Design and Develop OOTB and custom application on ServiceNow platform

with primary focus on HRSD development

 Responsible for design and architect of HRSD application like HR case

management, Enterprise On-boarding , HR integrations, Employee centre ,

HR taxonomy(etc.

 Work closely with the user experience and platform team to create and

enhance HRSD Employee portal and mobile application.

 The developer will be involved in developing and maintaining Processes on

ServiceNow platform and will need excellent knowledge of Service Portal

setup, JavaScript, HTML, CSS. jQuery, AJAX, angular.js etc.

 Testing of new and existing functionality

 Documentation of new and existing process

 Training of end users

Experience and Skills

Required

 About 4-7 years of experience in developing application using ServiceNow

platform Development & administration )

 Expertise with ServiceNow Human Resource Service Delivery application

in the area of HR case management , HR lifecycle events(On-boarding ,

offboarding etc etc), Employee Centre.

 Extensive experience creating custom Widget using html, CSS, bootstrap ,

AngularJS etc

 Experience with Now mobile app.

 Experience in extensive cross-browser testing and support.

 Hands on ServiceNow integration experience using Web Service, SOAP

/REST.

 Practical experience of servicenow integration with ERP systems like Oracle

Cloud

 An appreciation of supporting production systems and end users.

 Passion to work in Enterprise Applications area.

 Exceptional problem-solving skills, strong analytical & debugging skills.

 Understanding of software development processes
