Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Python Django Developer with expertise in building robust, scalable, and efficient web applications. Must have 3+ years of core work experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with RabbitMQ, Redis, Celery, and PostgreSQL to ensure seamless background task management, caching, and database performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Django-based web applications and APIs.
• Design and implement message broker solutions using RabbitMQ to manage asynchronous communication.
• Integrate Redis for caching and session storage to optimize performance.
• Implement and manage task queues using Celery for background processes.
• Work with PostgreSQL for database design, optimization, and query tuning.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following best practices and standards.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the application stack.
• Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and team meetings.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of applications.

Technical Skills:

• Must have minimum 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Django framework.
• Experience with message brokers, particularly RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with Redis for caching and session management.
• Hands-on experience with Celery for distributed task queues.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL, including database design and optimization.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
• Understanding of Docker and containerized applications.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Knowledge of Django ORM and its optimizations.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Soft Skills:

Educational Requirements

Introduction:

Tyroo’s Vidtech.ai is one of the largest independent marketing automation cloud built for the video first world. We build softwares and platforms that allow our partners to derive maximum yields on their marketing spends on various video first social platforms. We work on problems that involve building high availability, low latency solutions which require computing optimal decisions using various self-created modules as well as pre-available modules popular in the ML and Big Data world.

We are looking for a back-end developer who has at least 1 years professional experience in building systems on either Python or Node.js and is able to become an anchor/pillar for the team. The role will require you to architect and develop systems/features needed for our marketing automation products. Strong leadership and mentoring skills are also necessary so that the individual can train, educate and manage junior resources.

Technical Requirements:

• Must have 1+ years’ experience in developing scalable systems on Python/Node.js with strong grasp on microservices and serverless architectural patterns
• Must have prior experience with databases like MySQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis
• Must be exposed to cloud platforms like AWS or GCP and containerization using Dockers
• Must have worked with RESTful APIs and WebSockets
• Must have deep understanding of HTTP, web browsers and token-based authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT)
• Must be experienced on Version Control Tools (Git) and Package Managers (npm, yarn, pip)
• Must adhere to coding standards and have the habit of doing unit testing along with regular and rigorous code reviews
• Should know about microservices orchestration using Kubernetes, web servers like Nginx/Apache and queuing systems like Kafka/Kinesis

THE POSITION:

- 3+ years of relevant experience in designing & implementing scalable, resilient backend microservices

- Expert at any backend programming language (Python/GoLang preferrable) and has exposure to API design and scalable architecture

- Hands-on experience on a couple of RDBMS/NoSQL/In-memory DBs

- Great database modelling skills

- Ability to choose the right algorithm, data-structure, and design pattern for the given problem statement

- Knowledge of any cloud based platform like AWS or GCP and scaling on the go

- Understanding of various application security principles and experience with building applications secure by design

Backend Developer :- (3 - 12 yrs)

What You'll Need?

• Knowledge of languages (JavaScript, Python) and frameworks/systems (nodejs)
• Strong analytical skills and aptitude
• Understanding of data architecture, software design and best coding practices
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and technologies

• Proficient in algorithms and data structures.
• Having strong experience in designing data intensive and scalable systems.
• Comfortable with microservices based architecture.

• Past experience of mentoring a team of at least two people.
• Prior experience with both relational and non-relational databases.
• Prior experience with caching.
• Ability to debug and hotfix a problem with production in a swift amount of time.

• Lead the engineering effort across projects 
• Interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages including Application Architecture, Design and Development
• Understand client's business requirements and be able to map them to technology solutions and make them work
• Design and build modern solutions informed by a deep understanding of cloud architecture and how distributed systems operate at scale
• Provide regular support and guidance to teams on complex coding, issue resolution and execution 
• Establish and enforce best development and engineering practices including QA and DevOps
• Lead and manage your own team, but also get down to coding, testing, and designing solutions as and when needed
• Communicate effectively with teams, clients and business leaders within the company

• Minimum 6+ years of experience designing and building full stack applications using UI frameworks like Angular, React or Vue.JS and backend frameworks like Node.JS/ExpressJS or Python/Django/Flask or Laravel/Yii2/Symphony
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Technical Lead mentoring team of 3 to 5 developers
• Strong knowlegde of cloud and distributed systems (AWS, GCP, Azure). Cloud certifications would be an added advantage.
• Deep knowledge of relational databases, SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with Graph databases like Neo4j is desirable.
• Proficient in Git and CI-CD frameworks
• Strong communicator with visual, verbal, and writing skills to clearly articulate complex design problems and solutions
