In this role, you will:

• Own the development of secure backend services and responsive frontend experiences end-to-end using Go, React, and event-driven architectures
• Design and optimize database systems that handle complex manufacturing data (a mix of 3D and 2D) with PostgreSQL and AWS RDS
• Build security-first systems with proper authentication, authorization, and secret management practices
• Architect event-driven systems that process real-time manufacturing data and enable seamless workflows
• Work directly with engineers to understand their daily challenges and build tools that meaningfully improve their operations
• Ensure all systems are production-ready with comprehensive monitoring, logging, and CI/CD pipelines

Your background looks something like:

• 3-7+ years of engineering experience building full-stack applications (ideally in Go and React)
• Strong experience with event-driven architectures, message queues, and distributed systems
• Proven track record managing production databases including schema design and performance optimization
• Deep understanding of security best practices and production deployment strategies
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and containerization technologies
• Familiar with self-hosting (we work w on-premises deployment a lot)
• Flexibility to work across multiple languages (Go, Python, React, and potentially Rust)
