Job Description:

The Finance Head is a senior executive responsible for overseeing all financial activities within an organization. This role typically reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and plays a crucial role in guiding the financial strategy and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts aligned with organizational objectives. Conduct financial analysis to assess performance, identify risks, and opportunities for improvement.

·        Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

The infrastructure is hosted on AWS and the application is on LAMP. The candidate needs to have a good understanding and preferably hands-on experience of:

• Design and development of LAMP-based SaaS and Mobile product
• Software development lifecycle including source code control, issue tracking, version management, unit, and integration testing
• Understanding of AWS Cloud deployment and technologies like Lambda etc
• Performance tuning of database and application code

Roles and Responsibilities

The candidate is expected to perform the following

• Review and optimize product architecture
• Optimize the product scalability and performance – this would involve working with the development and testing team and implement innovative ways to scale.
• Improve Development/ QA processes
• Plan best practices and also work hands-on on new features to check viability before handing over to development teams – e.g. API for email integration, CRM integration, Social media APIs
