About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished DevOps Lead with 12+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, Blockchain, and CI/CD processes. The DevOps Lead will play a pivotal role in architecting scalable cloud environments, driving automation, ensuring secure deployments, and enabling efficient software delivery pipelines. The role involves working with AWS, Huawei Cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform, blockchain-based infrastructure, and modern DevOps toolchains while providing leadership, technical guidance, and client-facing communication.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

● Lead, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps engineers, setting technical direction and ensuring adherence to best practices.

● Facilitate collaboration across engineering, QA, security, and blockchain development teams.

● Act as the primary technical liaison with clients, managing expectations, requirements, and solution delivery.

Infrastructure Automation & Management

● Architect, implement, and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform across multi-cloud environments.

● Standardize environments across AWS, Digital Ocean, Huawei Cloud with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.

● Manage provisioning, scaling, monitoring, and cost optimization of infrastructure resources.

CI/CD & Automation

● Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines supporting multiple applications and microservices.

● Integrate automated testing, static code analysis, and security scans into the pipelines.

● Implement blue-green / canary deployments and ensure zero downtime release strategies.

● Promote DevSecOps by embedding security policies into every phase of the delivery pipeline.

Containerization & Orchestration

● Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on Kubernetes clusters (EKS, CCE, or equivalent).

● Utilize Helm charts, Kustomize, and operators for environment consistency.

● Optimize container performance and manage networking, storage, and secrets.

Monitoring, Logging & Incident Response

● Implement and manage monitoring and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, Loki).

● Define SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs for production systems.

● Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.

Governance, Security & Compliance

● Implement best practices for secrets management, key rotation, and role-based access control.

● Integrate vulnerability scanning and security audits into pipelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

● 12+ years of experience in DevOps, with at least 5+ years in a lead capacity.

● Proven expertise with Terraform and IaC across multiple environments.

● Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Huawei Cloud infrastructure services.

● Deep expertise in Kubernetes cluster administration, scaling, monitoring, and networking.

● Advanced experience designing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.

● Solid background in automated deployments, configuration management, and version control (Git, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).

● Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, Go, or similar).

● Proficiency with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, Datadog).

● Strong understanding of blockchain infrastructure, node operations, staking setups, and deployment automation.

● Knowledge of container security, network policies, and zero-trust principles.

● Excellent communication, client handling, and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to present complex DevOps concepts to non-technical audiences.

● Ability to design and maintain highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems in production environments.

DevOps & Automation:

• Experience in CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, YAML, Git, and GitHub. Capable of automating build, test, and deployment processes to streamline application delivery.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Bicep (preferred), Terraform, Ansible, and ARM Templates.

Cloud Services & Architecture:

• Experience in Azure Cloud services, including Web Apps, AKS, Application Gateway, APIM, and Logic Apps.
• Good understanding of cloud design patterns, security best practices, and cost optimization strategies.

Scripting & Automation:

• Experience in developing and maintaining automation scripts using PowerShell to manage, monitor, and support applications.
• Familiar with Azure CLI, REST APIs, and automating workflows using Azure DevOps Pipelines.

Data Integration & ADF:

• Working knowledge or basic hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), focusing on developing and managing data pipelines and workflows.
• Knowledge of data integration practices, including ETL/ELT processes and data transformations.

Application Management & Monitoring:

• Ability to provide comprehensive support for both new and legacy applications.
• Proficient in managing and monitoring application performance using tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Understanding of application security principles and best practices.

Database Skills:

• Basic experience of SQL and Azure SQL, including database backups, restores, and application data management.

What will you do?

· Define the overall process, which includes building a team for DevOps activities and ensuring that infrastructure changes are reviewed from an architecture and security perspective

· Create standardized tooling and templates for development teams to create CI/CD pipelines

· Ensure infrastructure is created and maintained using terraform

· Work with various stakeholders to design and implement infrastructure changes to support new feature sets in various product lines.

· Maintain transparency and clear visibility of costs associated with various product verticals, environments and work with stakeholders to plan for optimization and implementation

· Spearhead continuous experimenting and innovating initiatives to optimize the infrastructure in terms of uptime, availability, latency and costs

6. Have nailed the data storage game: Good knowledge of Relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL,Mongo, BigQuery, Cassandra…)

7. Bring that extra zing: Have the ability to program/script is and strong fundamentals in Linux and Networking.

8. Know your toys: Have a good understanding of Microservices architecture, Big Data technologies and experience with highly available distributed systems, scaling data store technologies, and creating multi-tenant and self hosted environments, that’s a plus

Sr Enterprise Software Architect with Cloud skills and preferably having either a GCP Associate or Professional Certification.

The requirement is to understand existing Enterprise Applications and help design a solution to enable Load balancing & Auto Scaling the application to meet certain KPIs.

Roles and Responsibilities 

• Primary stakeholder collaborating with Dir Engineering on software/infrastructure architecture, monitoring/alerting framework and all other architectural level technical issues
• Design and manage implementation of Silvermine’s high performance, scalable, extensible and resilient microservices application stack based of existing, partially migrated monolithic application and for new product development.  Includes:
  • Utilizing either ECS Fargate (no EC2 clusters) or EKS as the orchestration framework – to be tested up to a minimum of 100k concurrent users
  • Exploring, designing and implementing use of on demand compute (Lambda) where appropriate
  • Scalable and redundant data architecture supporting microservices design principles
  • A scalable reverse proxy layer to isolate microservices from managing network connections
  • Utilizing CDN capabilities to offload origin load via an intelligent caching strategy
  • Leveraging best in breed AWS service offerings to enable team to focus on application stack instead of application scaffolding while minimizing operational complexity and cost

- Provide level-3 technical support on your customer's most complex issues

- Lead implementation of low-level security controls in Cloud environments, for services, server and containers

- Remotely diagnose & resolve DevSecOps issues in customer environments - able to resolve their DevOps issues that may be interfering with CloudPassage processing.

- Interact with CloudPassage Engineering team by providing customer issue reproduction and data capture, technical diagnostics and validating fixes. QA experience preferred.
