DevOps Engineer

Our organization relies on its central engineering workforce to develop and maintain a product portfolio of several different startups. As part of our engineering, you'll work on several products every quarter. Our product portfolio continuously grows as we incubate more startups, which means that different products are very likely to make use of different technologies, architecture & frameworks - a fun place for smart tech lovers!

Responsibilities:

• 3 - 5 years of experience working in DevOps/DevSecOps.
• Strong hands-on experience in deployment, administration, monitoring, and hosting services of Kubernetes.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices for RBAC (Kubernetes) and AWS services like EKS, VPC, IAM, EC2, Route53, and S3.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure and application security.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Hands-on experience in configuring and managing a service mesh like Istio.
• Experience working in Cloud, Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps environments. We live in the Cloud.
• Experience with Jenkins, Google Cloud Build, or similar.
• Good to have experience with using PAAS and SAAS services from AWS like Big Query, Cloud Storage, S3, etc.,
• Good to have experience with configuring, scaling, and monitoring database systems like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and so on.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 to 7 years of experience in DevSecOps or a related field.
• Great hands-on experience in Kubernetes, EKS, AWS services like VPC, IAM, EC2, and S3, Terraform, terraform backed and ternary resources of Terraform, and CICD tools like Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
• Experience in developing and maintaining automation scripts using Terraform.
• Proficiency in any Linux scripting language.
• Familiarity with security tools and technologies such as WAF, IDS/IPS, and SIEM.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Availability to join immediately to 15 days in Pune, Bangalore, or Noida locations.

THE POSITION

Ashnik is looking for talented and passionate Technical consultant to be part of the training team and work with customers on DevOps Solution. You will be responsible for implementation and consultations related work for customers across SEA and India. We are looking for personnel with personal qualities like -

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• 3+ years of experience with B.E/ B.Tech, MCA, Graduation Degree with higher education in the technical field.
• Must have prior experience with docker containers, swarm and/or Kubernetes.
• Understanding of Operating System, processes, networking, and containers.
• Experience/exposure in writing and managing Dockerfile or creating container images.
• Experience of working on Linux platform.
• Ability to perform installations and system/software configuration on Linux.
• Should be aware of networking and SSL/TLS basics.
• Should be aware of tools used in complex enterprise IT infra e.g. LDAP, AD, Centralized Logging solution etc.

A preferred candidate will have

• Prior experience with open source Kubernetes or another container management platform like OpenShift, EKS, ECS etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

First 2 months:

• Get an in-depth understanding of containers, Docker Engine and runtime, Swarm and Kubernetes.
• Get hands-on experience with various features of Mirantis Kubernetes Engine, and Mirantis Secure Registry

After 2 months:

• Work with Ashnik’s pre-sales and solution architects to deploy Mirantis Kubernetes Engine for customers
• Work with customer teams and provide them guidance on how Kubernetes Platform can be integrated with other tools in their environment (CI/CD, identity management, storage etc)
• Work with customers to containerize their applications.
• Write Dockerfile for customers during the implementation phase.
• Help customers design their network and security policy for effective management of applications deployed using Swarm and/or Kubernetes.
• Help customer design their deployments either with Swarm services or Kubernetes Deployments.
• Work with pre-sales and sales team to help customers during their evaluation of Mirantis Kubernetes platform
• Conduct workshops for customers as needed for technical hand-holding and technical handover.

MLOps Engineer

Required Candidate profile :

• 3+ years’ experience in developing continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, Github Actions) and bringing ML models to CI/CD pipelines
• Candidate with strong Azure expertise
• Exposure of Productionize the models
• Candidate should have complete knowledge of Azure ecosystem, especially in the area of DE
• Candidate should have prior experience in Design, build, test, and maintain machine learning infrastructure to empower data scientists to rapidly iterate on model development
• Develop continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines on top of Azure that includes AzureML, MLflow and Azure Devops

• Ability to hire while ensuring a high hiring bar, keep engineers motivated, coach/mentor, and handle performance management
• Experience running production services in Public Clouds such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Experience with running large stateful data systems in the Cloud
• Prior knowledge of Cloud architecture and implementation features (multi-tenancy, containerization, orchestration, elastic scalability)
