As a DevOps Engineer, you’re responsible for automating the deployment of our software solutions. You interact with software engineers, functional product managers, and ICT professionals daily. Using your technical skills, you provide internal tooling for development and QA teams around the globe.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a field related to Computer Science.
• Pride in developing high-quality solutions and taking responsibility for their maintenance.
• Minimum 6 years' experience in a similar role
• Good knowledge of the following technologies: Kubernetes, PowerShell or bash scripting, Jenkins, Azure Pipelines or similar automation systems, Git.
• Familiarity with the Cloud–Native Landscape. Terraform, Ansible, and Helm are tools we use daily.
• Supportive towards users.

Bonus points if you have:

• A background in DevOps, ICT, or technical support.
• Customer support experience or other relevant work experience, including internships.
• Understanding of Windows networks and Active Directory.
• Experience with transferring applications into the cloud.

Qualifications

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role 
• Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and experience with AWS 
• Experience of building and supporting complex CI/CD pipelines using Github 
• Experience of building and supporting infrastructure as a code using Terraform 
• Proficiency in scripting and automating tools 
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols

You will work in engineering and development teams to integrate and develop cloud solutions and virtualized deployment of software as a service product. This will require understanding the software system architecture function as well as performance and security requirements. The DevOps Engineer is also expected to have expertise in available cloud solutions and services, administration of virtual machine clusters, performance tuning and configuration of cloud computing resources, the configuration of security, scripting and automation of monitoring functions. 1. Is Education overrated? Yes. We believe so. However there is no way to locate you otherwise. So unfortunately we might have to look for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from a reputed institute or you should be programming from 12. And the latter is better. We will find you faster if you specify the latter in some manner. Not just degree, but we are not too thrilled by tech certifications too ... :)

3. 3-8 years of experience with hands-on experience in Cloud Computing (AWS/GCP) and IT operational experience in a global enterprise environment.
