Role Overview

As a Product Designer, demonstrate a solid understanding of the fundamentals of product
design. You are driven by a desire to think through problems deeply and solve them well - you understand that UI is only a layer, not a solution. You have great taste for good design and know how to translate taste into outcomes. You take pride in your attention to detail and strive for perfection from concept to product

Responsibilities

❖ Work in agile product development (with Product owners, Managers,
Developers) to define requirements and design the solutions
❖ Design intuitive and simple user interfaces for mobile and web
solutions, producing journey maps, storyboards, mock-ups.
❖ Rapidly translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes
that lead to intuitive user experiences. Design UI for Mobile and Web applications
with a special focus on Data Visualizations
❖ Innovate with evolving customer experience in terms of applying technologies
and business models
❖ You will be challenged to understand business needs as well as user’s
perspectives and put them in a cohesive design which is simple but elegant. You
will also be expected to design the overall functionality of the product, and in order
to have the best user experience, iterate upon in accordance with user testing

Requirements
❖ 1-5 years of experience as UI/UX Designer (and/or Interaction Designer) with
experience working with internal or external stakeholders. Preferably at a growth
stage consumer product startup.
❖ Proficiency with design tools like Figma, Adobe Suite, and collaborative tools like
Notion, Airtable .
❖ Experience in designing mobile applications for users that are not so technically
literate
❖ A portfolio of previous work must be presented incorporating UI designs and/or
sketches that demonstrate an understanding of wireframing, interaction design,
visual design, and design best practices.

Job Description for the above position:

➢ 2 to 4 years of experience in high-speed and Mixed-signal product design and development.
➢ Hands-on experience in circuit design and circuit simulation, an excellent skill set is a must in circuit analysis.
➢ Knowledge of Product Development life cycle.
➢ Experience in High-level design, low-level design and test plan document preparation.
➢ Experience in Industrial/MIL grade environmental system design, in which processor-controlled and FPGA-controlled devices are involved.
➢ Excellent component selection and decision-making skills.
➢ Excellent knowledge of basic electronics components and its usage.
➢ Working experience with high-speed digital interfaces such as PCI Express, DDR3/4 SDRAM, 100Mbps/1000Mbps/10Gb/40Gb/100Gb and above Ethernet and USB2.0/3.0.
This is a must requirement.

➢ Familiarity and good knowledge of test equipment like Oscilloscope, Logic analyzer etc...
➢ Experience in a range of technologies including digital, analog and power electronics
➢ Familiarity with OrCAD for schematic capture, Allegro/Altium Designer for PCB artwork design and Gerber viewers.
➢ The ability to work with software engineers to design and debug systems
➢ Experience in Thermal analysis, Load analysis and Timing analysis.
➢ Knowledge of Signal integrity and power integrity.
➢ Experience in system-level design, logical design etc.
➢ Strong knowledge of EMI/EMC testing procedures and Certification standards.
➢ Guide and support all aspects of PCB layout, fabrication and assembly processes.
➢ Experience with PCB layout design tools like Allegro and Altium Designer.
➢ Strong knowledge of analog and digital video interfaces, especially HDMI, Display Port, and SMPTE video standards a plus.
➢ Strong knowledge and working experience of MS Office applications, Word, Excel, and Visio.

We are actively seeking SDETs/Sr SDETs, who are curious, motivated, enthusiastic and passionate about helping build quality products.

We think you could be a good fit if:
o You have a “"testing mindset” (similar to “engineering mindset", but subtly and importantly different). For example, you can think about bottlenecks, edge-cases, and failure-conditions of a given design/solution/system.
o You have working knowledge of at least one programming language- Java preferred, while others are also acceptable
o You have working knowledge and understanding of different types of APIs (eg. HTTP, JSON, REST, XML, SOAP, sync/async, etc.)
o You have working knowledge of either API test automation and UI test automation:
o API test automation: Hands on experience with API test automation tools, like Postman, REST-assured, etc.
o UI test Automation: Hands on experience with UI test automation tools, like Selenium WebDriver, Appium, etc.
o You have experience in building custom automated testing frameworks (as opposed to writing single test-cases)
o You enjoy working in a fast-paced learning environment with an aptitude for solving complex problems.

What you can expect in this role:
• Constantly learn new tools and techniques, primarily in the test automation space
• Apply test automation expertise to help different digital platforms within Jio in achieving faster testing cycles, that ultimately result in faster product releases
• Build and maintain custom automated testing frameworks for multiple application platforms and devices, like mobile apps (Android and iOS), web apps, desktop apps, or proprietary set-topbox apps.
• Brainstorm to come-up with automation testing strategies and test-data management for testing complex systems with multiple moving parts. For example, what should be unit-tested, what should be integration-tested, what can be tested in parallel, what must be tested sequentially, and so, on (ref: “testing pyramid”)
• Setup and maintain CI test scripts
• Create and manage test reports
• Provide detailed and effective bug reports
• Working along with product development teams to help reproduce and debug hard-to-replicate issues
• Mentor and help in on-boarding other team-members

Educational Background
B.Tech/B.E./PG in any Specialization

Experience
1-7 years with minimum 6 months experience in API test automation and UI test automation.

About the role

At Nspira CBD’s Technology team, we're looking for a client-side JS developer to join our
growing frontend team. As the client-side developer, you will help develop the next
generation education app using tools such as React.js, jQuery and similar. You will ensure that
these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will
coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. We're
looking for someone who is comfortable with a fast-moving environment and can learn
quickly.
