About the Role

We are looking for a Software Developer Intern (Zoho Ecosystem) to join our HR Tech and Automation team at MyOperator’s Noida office. This role is ideal for passionate coders who are eager to explore the Zoho platform and learn how to automate business workflows, integrate APIs, and build internal tools that enhance organizational efficiency.

You will work directly with our Zoho Developer and Engineering Operations team, gaining hands-on experience in Deluge scripting, API integrations, and system automation within one of the fastest-growing SaaS environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and test API integrations between Zoho applications and third-party platforms.
• Learn and apply Deluge scripting (Zoho’s proprietary language) to automate workflows.
• Assist in creating custom functions, dashboards, and workflow logic within Zoho apps.
• Debug and document automation setups to ensure smooth internal operations.
• Collaborate with HR Tech and cross-functional teams to bring automation ideas to life.
• Support ongoing enhancement and optimization of existing Zoho systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of at least one programming language (JavaScript or Python).
• Basic knowledge of APIs, JSON, and REST.
• Logical and analytical problem-solving mindset.
• Eagerness to explore Zoho applications (People, Recruit, Creator, CRM, etc.).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Good to Have (Optional)

• Exposure to HTML, CSS, or SQL.
• Experience with workflow automation or no-code platforms.
• Familiarity with SaaS ecosystems or business process automation tools.

Responsibilities

● Connect with potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services

• Managerial and Technical Expertise:
• Possess 3+ years of managerial experience and a solid 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Demonstrate prior success in leading and growing cross-functional development teams of 10-20 individual contributors.
• Software Delivery Excellence:
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software within tight deadlines, emphasizing agility in a collaborative and cross-functional environment.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Hands-on experience developing and designing large-scale distributed systems using languages like Java, Python, C++, Ruby, Go, or JavaScript.
• DevOps and SaaS Background:
• Background in DevOps with experience in the operation of widely deployed SaaS products.
• Communication and Organization:
• Exceptional organizational skills and effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• CI/CD and Cloud Platform Experience:
• Previous experience in designing CI/CD environments.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Data-Driven Decision Making:
• Demonstrated experience using data to measure success, drive improvements, and inform strategic decisions.

The role requires you to:

• Answer client queries related to use of Superset software product, on email channel, and largely phone channel
• To understand queries, resolve them by providing ways to achieve use cases using Superset tool
• Ensure customer success by providing timely resolution
• Write documentation and FAQs

Objectives :

• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Testing code written by others and analyzing results
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
• Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities :

• Deploy updates and fixes
• Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
• Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors

Skills and Qualifications :

• Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
• Proficient with git and git workflows
• Good logical skills and knowledge of programming concepts(OOPS,Data Structures)
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL

• Participation in design and code reviews and recommend improvements

Minimum requirements:

• Tech/M.Tech in computer Engineering or related fields or MCA
• At least 10-14 years of software development experience
• Expert in Java, Scala or any other object oriented language
• Proficient in SQL concepts (HiveQL or Postgres a plus)
• Additional language skills for scripting and rapid application development

Desired skills and experience:

• Working with large data sets in the PBs
• Familiarity with UNIX (systems skills a plus)
• Working experience in Solr, Cassandra, and Kafka
• Working in a distributed environment and has dealt with challenges around scaling and performance
• Working with distributed teams across multiple locations
