Network Engineer duties and responsibilities

·       Design and deploy of LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including servers, routers, firewalls, load balancers, switches, and other hardware

·       Configure, tests, and maintains LAN/WAN equipment and related services

·       Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves network problems

·       Architecting, creating, managing and maintaining Network, Server and PC health for clients (as defined by SLA)

·       Managing existing and deploying new system configurations, including Windows Server, Virtualization Systems, and Desktops (Windows and MAC)

·       Provide Tier 2 and 3 support for internal and external customers

·       Provide formal corporate communications on directional changes or changes that will impact existing services

·       Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team

·       Monitor and maintain all levels of network security internally and externally

·       Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks

Network Engineer requirements and qualifications

·       Previous working experience as a Network Engineer for (2) year(s)

·       BE/ BCA, MCA, B.SC -IT/CS

·       Cisco certifications, CCNA, CCNP or CCIE/ MSCIT

·       In depth knowledge of IP Schema

·       Hands on experience with equipment from Cisco / UTM / Fortigate / Juniper/ Active Directory/ mailig

·       Excellent organizational and time management skills

·       Analytical, data driven problem solver

·        Maximum 5 years of Information Technology/Technology Operations/Information Security experience required.

·        Minimum 3 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Identity & Access Management, Role Based Access Control, and Identity Governance is mandatory.

·        Knowledge on User Life Cycle Management, Access provisioning, Access administration is must.

·        Experience with technologies such as Role-Based Active Control (RBAC) and Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC) is required.

·        Experience in User Access Re-certification activities is mandatory.

·        Working knowledge on Active Directory is must.

·        Working experience on any IAM tool (SailPoint/Okta/OneIdentity/Varonis/MIM) would be added advantage.

·        Knowledge on Identity and Access Management role/processes/tools is must.

·        Prior experience in processing IAM requests (Add/Modify/Delete) is must.

·        Experienced in Incident management & Change Management processes.

·        Knowledge of and the ability to adhere to SAS and SOX audit requirements pertaining to Identity & Access Management job requirements.

·        Experience with work-flow management tools such as ServiceNow.

·        Leveraging creative thinking and problem solving skills, individual initiative, and utilizing MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).

·        Understanding personal and team roles; contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback.

·        Identifying and addressing business needs: building relationships with Stake Holders; developing an awareness of Firm services; communicating with the business/stake holders in an organized and knowledgeable manner; delivering clear requests for information; demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; and communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor

·        Experience performing user administration tasks for various in-house and third-party applications.

·        Analyzing, prioritizing, and resolving faults to resolution. Resolve tickets according to SLAs and escalation procedures.

·        Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills. Be proactive, dynamic, and flexible.

·        Good Communication skills, able to articulate well with business and stakeholders.

·        Education Qualification : Any graduate/post graduate with Computer Science background.

• Be a thought leader to contribute to the capacity planning for software/hardware, spanning internal and public cloud, solving the trade-off between turnaround time and utilization.

• Bring in technologies enabling massively parallel systems to improve turnaround time by an order of magnitude.

What you will need

• BS or BE/B.Tech or equivalent experience in EE/CS with 10+ years of experience.
• Strong background of Architecting and shipping distributed scalable software product with good understanding of system programming.

• Excellent background of Cloud technologies like: OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Ceph is must.
• Excellent understanding of hybrid, multi-cloud architecture and edge computing concepts.
• Ability to identify the bottleneck and come up with solution to optimize it.
• Programming and software development skills in Python, Shell-script along with good understanding of distributed systems and REST APIs.

• Experience in working with SQL/NoSQL database systems such as MySQL, MongoDB or Elasticsearch.
• Excellent knowledge and working experience with Docker containers and Virtual Machines.
• Ability to effectively work across organizational boundaries to maximize alignment and productivity between teams.

• Ability and flexibility to work and communicate effectively in a multi-national, multi-time-zone corporate.

• Deep understanding of technology and passionate about what you do.
• Background in designing high performant scalable software systems with strong focus to optimizehardware cost.
