+ Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented specialist to join our team as a Venture Analyst. In this role, you will work with innovative ventures and play a pivotal role in our advisory team to build compelling cases that foster strategic initiatives. You will conduct client interviews, develop case wireframes, and structure work to represent strategic paths. The ideal candidate should possess the following capabilities – critical thinking, logical reasoning, and a keen business acumen.

+ Key Responsibilities

• Proficient in framing questions for RFIs: Skilled in identifying critical data requirements and crafting precise & insightful questions to gather essential information from clients through Requests for Information (RFIs)
• Process Documentation: Develop and record systematic methodologies for analysing business cases to ensure consistency across projects
• Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment across teams to develop effective solutions to engagement pain points that improve client satisfaction and retention
• Report Presentation: Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and present your findings. Engage with both parties to ensure their needs are met and effectively communicate your work

+ Qualifications

Education: ·Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics or a related field

Experience: 2-4 years of experience as a business analyst role within a start-up or management consulting firm

Skills & Capabilities:

• Understanding of business and innovation concepts
• Good knowledge of representing qualitative and quantitative info sets
• Proficiency in data visualization tools and software (e.g., MS Office, Tableau)
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills
• Familiarity with financial analysis and projections

• Design and implementation of the overall web architecture

• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules

• 3-5 years of experience in web development and coding within a cross-disciplinary environment
• Good at writing HTML, CSS,Bootstrap and JavaScript. Being up on the latest practices is a must, e.g., HTML5, CSS3, and ECMAScript 6 (minimum)
• Good experience in JQuery, JavaScript
• Must have exp. on PHP, MYSQL, MVC, Linux, logging, Unit testing, Subversion, Restful/soap
• Experience with Source Control tools (Subversion
• Expert in back-end programming language PHP with Laravel framework and IDE
• Good experience in JQuery, JavaScript.
• ReactJS, AngularJS or VueJS would be preferred
• Experience with Source Control tools (Subversion)
• Ideally, familiarity with CSS preprocessors, bundlers, and associated languages/ syntaxes/ libraries
• Database design and management with No-SQL, Mysql, including being up on the latest practices and associated version

Your Tasks:

• Participate in all aspect of operation and application support.
• Work primarily in Java-on-Java Spring and web frameworks like Bootstrap and Vue.js.
• Engage and collaborate across time zones with different front-end and back-end developers.
• Working closely with your teammates on knowledge sharing and experience build-up.
• Drive development best practices with your teammates to deliver high quality solutions. 

  Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering with strong communication skills.
• 4+ years of experience building large-scale software applications or web applications
• Strong knowledge of Full-Stack development with Java Spring Framework and established web frameworks Bootstrap, Vue.js, React or AngularJS.
• Experience of different data stores and search engine solutions like Apache Solr or Elasticsearch and designing and implementing API web services (RESTful and SOAP-based)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment whiles providing operational support capability.

• Reporting to the Customer Experience Manager
• Work from office: the role will be based in Bark’s offices in Bangalore
• The package will be a good base salary with excellent commission on top
• He/she will be responsible for the following aspects of customer success, including:
• Front-line B2B support for inbound calls & mails (ratio 80:20))
• Successful onboarding of professionals to buy their first pack, soft sales for elite/up-gradation
• Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication

Requirements

• Well versed in English and Marathi (oral and written communication)
• Experience in sales or customer support domain will be appreciated
• Fresh graduate or less than 2 years of experience
• A go-getter attitude to get things done efficiently and resolve user queries in a single contact
• Excellent communication style and ability to stay calm under pressure

Desirable

• Knowledge of any CRM tools/customer success platforms and how they work (Zendesk is preferred)
• Comfortable to work for 40 hours/ week on a roster basis
• Knowledge of other languages will be an advantage

• Understands detailed requirements and demonstrates excellent problem solving skills
• Deep understanding of software engineering practices, Design Patterns, Data Structures, Algorithms
• Excellent programming skills in ROR, Golang, NodeJS, Python or Java
• Strong communication skills
• Strong sense of ownership, drive and ability to deliver results
• 2+ years of experience in product driven organization
