Business Development (Sales) internship

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Java Technical Lead with 8 to 12 years of experience in product

development and team leadership. As a key member of our global software development team, you

will be responsible not only for solving complex technical problems but also for leading and mentoring

engineers, driving the design of scalable systems, and ensuring high quality delivery across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, testing, a nd deployment of scalable Java applications.

Break down client/business problems and define clear technical tasks for the team.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members throughout the development

lifecycle.

Collaborate with cross functiona l teams to deliver new features and enhancements.

Participate in and lead code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and maintaining

code quality.

Own and drive the architecture and design discussions for new modules and systems.

Ensure timely deli very of project milestones and proactively resolve technical blockers.

Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to improve efficiency and product quality.

Serve as the primary technical point of contact for your team and stakeholders.

8+ years of hands on experience in Java development.

Proven experience in building products or applications from scratch (not just

maintenance/support).

Strong object oriented programming skills and hands on experience with Spring, Spring Boot,

Hibernate, etc.

Solid understanding of system architecture, design patterns, and microservices architecture.

Experience in leading small to mid sized teams and managing technical delivery.

Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and performance optimiz ation.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience working with RESTful APIs and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a

plus.

Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding requirements from the product manager and translating to technical specifications
• DB schema development
• API development (structuring REST endpoints + real-time endpoints like socket.io integration)
• Integrating 3rd party services for payments, email, whatsapp, and other such services
• Optimizing our current architecture & processes for scale (we expect usage to go up)
• Guiding junior developers on best coding practices

• You have experience building REST-based API's using Flask, Django or FastAPI in a production environment
• You have excellent knowledge of data structures, software design patterns and software architecture
• You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing requirements
• You have experience with code versioning (Git) and CI/CD (Jenkins, Circle, etc..) tools
• Familiarity/Experience with Elasticsearch is a huge plus
• Familiarity/Experience with FastAPI nice to have

• Experience in the design, development, and deployment of large-scale enterprise applications with multiple tiers
• Exposure on agile test-driven development for robustness, usability, reliability, security and performance.
• Strong technical aptitude for any programming language, preferred, Core JAVA and Spring Boot and other Spring libraries, Eureka, Hystrix etc.
• Experience of creating architecture or developing web services using Open source technologies and to integrate applications with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra
• Solid understanding of OOPS, algorithms and data structures.
• Experience on Kafka / Scala / Storm / Elastic Search and Web Services like RESTful.
• Experience in building highly scalable distributed systems
• Extensive experience with version control systems (Git is preferred) and issue tracking systems (JIRA is preferred)

• Experience of working with Qlik sense or Tableau is a plus
