Your Role

We at Innovaccer are looking for  Software Development Engineer-II (Backend) to build the most amazing product experience. You’ll get to work with other engineers to build delightful feature experience to understand and solve our customer’s pain points.

A Day in the Life

• Building efficient and reusable applications and abstractions.
• Identify and communicate back-end best practices.
• Participate in the project life-cycle from pitch/prototyping through definition and design to build, integration, QA and delivery
• Analyse and improve the performance, scalability, stability, and security of the product

What You Need

• 3+ years of experience with a start-up mentality and high willingness to learn
• Solid knowledge of Python and experience with any web framework (Django, etc)
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skill
• Experience in Web Services and REST.
• Experience in RDBMS & NoSQL database.
• Experience in Solution Architecture.
• Proven experience with Git.
• Knowledge of high-level JavaScript concepts like asynchronous programming, closures, promises, data-binding, async-await, etc.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering.

• Elicits, analyzes, specifies, and validates the business needs of stakeholders, be they customers or end-users.

• Proven experience with writing business documents such as proposals, Statement of work, and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development
• Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including planning, organizing, and managing resources

• Collaborates with the client, Tech Head(s), and Dev Team to determine project scope, vision, challenges, risks, and assumptions
• Clearly identify and periodically document project stakeholders and establish customer groups, as well as their characteristics.
• Conducts interviews to gather customer requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.
• Identifies and establishes scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics.
• Works with stakeholders and the project teams to prioritize collected requirements using Agile methodologies.
• Researches, reviews, and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.
• Analyzes and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
• Translates conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.
• Creates process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.
• Develops and conducts peer reviews of the business requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are accurately interpreted.
• Assists with the interpretation of customer requirements into feasible options, and communicating these back to the business stakeholders.
• Manages and tracks the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary.
• Communicates changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements — verbally or through written documentation — to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
• Getting project sign off from stakeholders upon completion of a phase/project

• Ensure adherence towards PMO and CMMI processes
• Helps PMO in process enhancement, roll-out, tracking, and reporting
• Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including planning, organizing, and managing resources

• Provides guidance and/or instruction to junior staff members.

1. 0 to 2 years of experience into Java 6/7/8, J2EE, EJB, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, LOG4J, SQL, PL/SQL, XML, XSLT, JSON,
2. Good to have strong experience in Core Java SpringBoot, Spring framework
3. knowledge of Spring MVC, Spring REST, JDBC Templates
4. Knowledge of Java/J2EE Design patterns
5. knowledge of implementation of WebServices like REST will be added advantage
6. Good knowledge of Relational Databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server with complex SQL Queries, Stored Procedure, Triggers
7. Knowledge of Unit Test Cases is added advantage
8. Knowledge of build tools like Maven, Gradle, Ant
9. Knowledge of any one or more of MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4J, Redis, Kafka, ActiveMQ, Caches, Microservices will be a major plus
10. Good to have knowledge of ORM like Hibernate
11. Knowledge and experience in nodejs backend will be added advantage

Functions and Responsibility: 

- Identify new opportunities, sectors and business segments for expanding the business volume and getting new projects in the field of MEP Services. 

- Identify, Build and Maintain business relations with new and existing clients in the market to know about their new projects and upcoming requirements. 

- Participate & Arrange major seminar/exhibitions/events for brand awareness in the market 

- Preparing a pre-tender report and presentations to the senior management on the project expectations, deliverable and timelines.
