Job Overview

We are looking for a talented Senior Backend Developer to join our team in developing backend servicing. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js. The ideal candidate is passionate about distributed systems, has experience with backend services and is excited about optimising applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, architect solutions, and implement features.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Optimise applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement security measures to ensure data privacy and integrity in backend systems.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth operation of production systems.
• Perform code reviews to maintain code quality, consistency, and adherence to coding standards.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in backend development, Node.js, and related ecosystems

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in backend development, with at least 4 years of experience using Node.js.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Experience with web frameworks such as Express.js.
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with excellent communication skills.

Roles and Responsibility: 

∙ Develop functional and fast-responsive web applications, using markup languages. ∙ Maintain websites. 

∙ Elaborate mobile-based and web-based features. 

∙ Troubleshoot apps for bugs. 

∙ Fix bugs if necessary and improve usability. 

∙ Improve apps for maximum speed. 

∙ Troubleshoot UI and improve its performance accordingly. 

∙ Employ the latest technology in order to re-built legacy apps. 

∙ Integrate UI elements with server-side ones. 

∙ Detect and fulfill front-end and back-end requirements. 

∙ Perform training and support activities. 

∙ Develop reusable code. 

∙ Write comprehensive manuals, guides, and documents. 

∙ Compile prototype and quality mockups. 

∙ Make sure that high-quality graphic standards are met.

      Experience in C#, OOps, Javascript, HTML

·       Should have delivered successful end-to-end development to deployment experience on Web applications and Api’sin last 1-5 years

·         Experience in SQL is a must

·         Should have 1-5 years experience in backend development

·         Experience in service-based development using technologies such as Web API and RESTful services. 

·         Proficient in writing clean, well-structured code with proper abstraction and reusability.

.         Ability to work to tight deadlines, manage priorities, and take responsibility for delivering to time and quality requirements.

Mandatory Skills - Nodejs, Javascript, Express.js, MongoDB, Data Structures, Algorithms.

• Expertise in building highly scalable web services using Node.js, Create REST API with the help of Node middleware
• Deep understanding of REST and API design

• Expertise with JavaScript testing frameworks like Jasmine, Quit, Mocha, Sinnon and Chai. 
• Expertise with build tools like Web pack, gulp, and grunt.

• Experience level of 6 to 9 years of experience in very large-scale applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills, computer science fundamentals, data structures and

• Design (LLD & HLD) and architect technical solutions for the business problems of a very large-scale portal.
• Strong hands-on and practical working experience with Java as the programming language
