Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems to ensure smooth plant operations. The role requires hands-on experience in preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, equipment inspection, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Breakdown Maintenance

Attend machine and equipment breakdowns promptly.

Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults.

Minimize downtime by carrying out effective repairs and corrective actions.

Preventive Maintenance

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on production equipment and utilities.

Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they lead to equipment failure.

Ensure all maintenance activities are completed as per maintenance schedules.

Equipment Maintenance

Carry out lubrication, alignment, and servicing of machines and equipment.

Maintain motors, pumps, gearboxes, compressors, and other industrial machinery.

Inspect and maintain electrical panels, wiring, switches, and control systems.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

Update maintenance logbooks and equipment history sheets.

Report recurring issues and suggest improvement measures.

Safety & Compliance

Follow company safety procedures and maintenance standards.

Ensure proper use of tools, PPE, and maintenance equipment.

Support workplace housekeeping and 5S initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

ITI (Fitter/Electrician) or equivalent technical qualification.

2–3 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Role Overview

We are seeking a strong Python Application Engineer to help build a next-generation Index Backtesting and Rebalance Platform.

In this role, you will design and develop deterministic, scalable calculation engines that convert financial methodologies into production-grade software.

You will work on portfolio construction, rebalancing logic, and historical simulations while consuming reference and market data from Snowflake using python as your core processing tool.

Key Responsibilities

Engine Development: Design and implement modular, reusable Python components for index construction, rebalancing, and backtesting.

Large-Scale Simulation: Use Pandas, NumPy, and PySpark to run historical calculations across long time horizons and multiple index variants.

Workflow Integration: Integrate engines with orchestrators such as Airflow or Temporal using parameterized, config-driven execution.

Reference Data Consumption: Query and utilize pricing, security master, and corporate action data from Snowflake.

Quality & Reconciliation: Build automated test harnesses to validate outputs, compare against benchmarks, and guarantee reproducibility.

Performance Optimization: Improve runtime efficiency through vectorization, caching, and distributed computing patterns.

Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with Business, Index Ops, and Platform teams to accelerate research-to-production onboarding.
