Job Description:

Mr n Mrs Pet, a leading pet store, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual for the Pre Sales position. As a Pre Sales representative, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on pet, assisting customers in identifying the right pets for them, and meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with selecting pets such as dogs, cats, and small pets.
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers by providing exceptional customer service.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months to 3 years of experience in pre-sales or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Passion for pets and expertise in pets, particularly for dogs, cats, and small pets.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Good computer skills and ability to learn new software programs.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.

Working days: The job requires 6 working days with rotational offs.

• Managing Director’s calendar, tasks, calls and assessing the priority of appointments and reallocation as necessary
• Maintaining executive’s agenda and assisting in planning appointments, board meetings, conferences, etc.
• Attending meetings and preparing “Minute of Meetings”, organizing meetings with timely reminders and ensuring that the Director is well prepared for those meetings, preparing agendas, pre-meeting briefings and meeting papers
• Managing Directors' and other accompanying guests' travel arrangements (including visas/ accommodation)
• Maintaining Director’s office systems, including data management and filing
• Ensuring necessary documentation of tasks and projects as advised and required as per good documentation practices
• Maintaining records of the Director’s contacts, screen calls inquiries and requests and dealing with them when appropriate
• Supervising all incoming/ outgoing mail
• Assisting Director in researching and following up with the action on matters which fall within the Director’s responsibility– chasing responses, triggering follow-up action
• Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations for the Director
• Meeting and greeting visitors empathetically at all levels of seniority
• Assisting the Director in connecting to various people over the phone and dial-ins
• Handling sensitive and complex issues in a professional and objective manner

What you need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or Vocational degree or diploma
• 1-2 years of proven experience as executive secretary or similar administrative role
• Excellent IT skills, including a working knowledge of presentation software packages, preferably MS Office, Google Workspace and PowerPoint
• Strong ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solve problems quickly and communicate clearly
• Administrative qualities to manage smooth office operations
• Basic research capabilities

You will be responsible for architecting, training the team and implementing your solution. You will be working closely with the Product Managers and the tech leads/developers to come up with high-quality, resilient, and highly performant applications.

• Design and develop SaaS-based applications based on microservices architecture.
• Work on core back-end and ensure it meets the performance benchmarks.
• Work on optimizing the middleware and backend technologies to ensure highest scalability.
• Work on best system design principles and ensure high availability.
• Designing and developing APIs for the front end to consume.
• Constantly improve the architecture of the application by clearing the technical backlog.
• Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
• Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.

• Overall 8+ years of experience.
• Agnostic/Polyglot with multiple tech stacks.

• Good experience with Front-end technologies like JavaScript frameworks, ReactJS, AngularJS.
• Back-end exposure - good knowledge of building API.
• Efficient in building microservices in combining server & front-end.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture especially using AWS and its features.
• Should be completely hands on and have the ability to develop quick Prototypes.
• Good understanding of CMS.
• Will be responsible for the functional/technical track of a project.
